  1. Scottish voices

    Please please please can we have the following options for voices Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, Highlands accented voices with dialects. If you are from these areas and far from home then it’s a big thing to hear a familiar sounding voice. Currently there is not one Scottish voice at all and we feel left out

  3. Take into account the size of the vehicle, depending on its type: camping car, utility vehicle, van, etc

    Be able to enter the height and width of the vehicle and have this taken into account in the navigation algorithm (risk of narrow passage, difficult navigation, etc.) and the calculation of motorway costs.

  4. Please get the driver display working for AAOS

    Im sure everyone noticed this right away that waze is not working on the driver display, which is how these systems were designed to be used. Please get this working ASAP so i can stop using Google maps.

  5. Custom voice recording to be of higher quality

    The quality of the audio when recording a persons voice is horrible. It sounds like I'm speaking through a mic using wired earphones from the early 2010's. Please do whatever you can to make the audio sound like the microphone made by the manufacturer of the mobile brand. There have been so many complaints about this, outside of this forum and I can't believe it still has not been fixed yet.

  6. Alertas de Lombada.

    No Brasil é muito comum a instalação de lombadas nas vis e isso pode causar acidentes. Seria tão fácil ter esse alerta no aplicativo. Recentemente tive um prejuízo de R$7 mil por conta de uma lombada sem sinalização. Seria algo como buraco na via, só que específico para lombadas.

  7. Copilot feature

    I have a suggestion that I think would be excellent and differentiating from other applications. This is a functionality that could be called "Copilot", and that allows a device with a Waze account to establish a new destination to a different device. For example, I have Waze on my device while I'm driving, and my wife can set a new destination for me from her own device without having to touch mine, for that reason I thought the function could be called "Copilot".

    This same functionality would also be very useful when navigating with CarPlay, so that I can continue…

  8. Show as Tractor

    Display yourself as a tractor or slow vehicle on the map. Yes also agricultural vehicles use waze and normal roads. They would like to warn other drivers. Like trash trucks or snow plow trucks.

  11. Mandalorian theme

    Can we get a mandalorian theme, with the armourer giving driving directions, when to go the correct way it’s confirmed with the armourers voice saying “this is the way” and maybe Kuiil saying “I have spoken”? also maybe Mandos ships as driver icon ?

  12. Please Bring Back ETA Box when there is an alert open

    It has been confirmed that it is a WAD:

    "ETA should be shown after alerter will be closed."

    Please bring back the ETA Box for Carplay when a map alert opens.

    ETA Box should never be hidden.

  13. Full screen speedometer option on phone

    It would be nice to have the option to have a full screen speedometer with speed limits. Motorcycle speedometers can be 10% off, so most of the time I use Waze as a speedometer (with a map), it would be nice if I could tap the speedometer and make it go to full screen big speedometer display, then tap again to return to the map if I need it.

    I've tried other GPS just speedometer, but then I lose Waze (And those aren't very accurate like your speedometer is).

  14. Share a Drive

    Bring back to original ‘share a drive’!! This sending a text message is annoying & takes slightly longer. Not having ‘friends’ in Waze is annoying as well. Why did you get rid of these options?

  15. You absolutely need to do this! Google maps lets me minimise the map so it is a floating window so waze stays open while other apps are open

    Waze should stay open and minimalize to a floating window just like google maps does. I love waze but this is the one reason i still use google maps.

  16. Automatically route

    Automatically route address based on voice input like Google maps.

    I am tired of saying navigating to a particular address and then Waze forces me to select and confirm after clearly specifying where I would like to go.

    Can you please make it like Google Maps where you say it once and it takes you there.

  17. Account for (sporting, concert) events along the route when calculating ETA for planned drives

    If you need to be somewhere at a certain time, but there is a sporting event along the way, there will be a lot of event traffic just before & just after the event. Waze could account for this traffic when calculating a planned drive. Then, based on historic data for such an event, Waze could either plan a route that avoids the traffic or it could show the ETA so you could drive past the venue during the event. Alternatively, you could know how early before or how late after the event you should leave to avoid the huge…

  18. Fuel consumption trip

    Ask the user the car consumption (L/100km) and the fuel price (cost per liter) in the settings, then calculate the fuel cost of the trip. (This trip will cost 12,4€ in fuel and 3€ in toll.) Like in the Mappy website for example.
