  2. Waze is suppose to be Community driven

    Why is it now I cannot use waze without allowing access to my contact. Who put that into the application on IOS.
    Fail ! fix it. I stopped using waze.. no reason to have access to my contacts... Are you going to rename it wazebook... the portable facebook... really ?

    הרעיון הוא להוסיף פיצ'ר שיראה את זמן ההגעה האמיתי מול זמן הגעה בצידה ואסע במהירות גבוהה מהמותר.
    למשל אם זמן הגעה משוער במהירות של 90 קמש הוא 12:00, אז למשתמש תהיה אפשרות בחירה של 110 - 140 קמש ואז הוא יוכל לראות כמה זמן "חסך" ע"י נסיעה במהירות זו.
    זה רק כדי להמחיש חנהגים שטסים על הכביש שב 99%

  4. Waze does not work on LG V-20 Nugget. Make waze work on it please

    Got new LG-V-20 phone and Waze does not work and is not compatible with new Nugget operating system. Tried re-installing, reboot. Goggle maps works, Sigalert works and GPS is on but Waze says searching and does not work

  7. Disable Swipe to reveal ETA bar on iOS

    Ever since iOS 10 I've noticed the sensitivity of opening control center has lessened. When I use Waze and want to skip songs or change the brightness, I usually have to swipe up twice to get to control center to appear since the ETA bar is activated by swipe. My suggestion is to include a setting that only a tap on the ETA bar can bring up the info card to reduce accidental swipes.

  8. Please fix Stockton St. Tunnel

    Drivers trying to find 645 Stockton St. San Francisco, CA consistently get lost, because your app sends them through the Stockton St. tunnel and this address is directly ABOVE the tunnel. So your app apparently can't tell the difference. We are not moles and do not live underground!

  11. Make sources of 3.7.4.5 public so I can fix voice guidance stops working issue.

    There is no version newer than 3.7.4.5 in the App store.

    This version has annoying bug causing voice guidance to stop working.

    I would like to try to fix the problem in order to make my life easier and to contribute to the Waze society.

    Please make the sources of this version available on sourceforge or similar resource.

  12. Use Waze information to Control Traffic Lights

    Since I'm a long time user of Waze and Google Maps, I was wondering if Alphabet Inc. has considered designing a smart system that would use the data transmitted by Waze clients to program traffic lights.

    From the research I've done, the actual smart systems in advanced cities are based on sensors and cameras placed at the intersections which makes this solution very expensive and thus not attractive to third world country cities. There's even a proposal using RFIDs in vehicles.

    I am sure that city governments would promote vigorously the use of these apps and embrace a solution that…

  16. A way th control texting and driving at same time.

    We were using Waze for first time today, I was driving and wife was on phone. She was unable to type anything in since car was moving and suggested we stop to input info. This technology should be marketed to the phone companies, which would block people texting and driving at same time. It could save many lives and countless injuries if adapted to all phones.

  17. go back to previous route planner as today the version is proposing strange routes and for sure not the best anymore

    since 3 or 4 updates , the efficiency is going down !!!!

    traffic not updated live

    routes proposed not anymore efficient : strange proposals => software lost in efficiency not proposing the best route and consistent alternatives or not proposing appropriate deviations saving really time

    sory but I will stop using it as now google maps is becoming very effective !!!

  18. last version 4.13.0.4 is shit , not updating the traffic live , wrong proposed itineraries

    the last revisions are not working any more

    traffic update delayed => wrong / inaccurate proposed routes or deviations

    strange routes proposed ( improbable routes , longer and not saving time ) , but shortcuts not proposed anymore => inefficient

    again today , I saved 23 minutes versus the estimation from waze on a route proposed as a 3rd solution ... as traffic not update live anymore !!!
