    I wish all the street directions and street names would show in my native language (English). I prefer the features of Waze, but I often use Sygic instead because I can understand the interface. Waze keeps the street names and written driving instructions in Chinese while the voice speaks English. It's frustrating and distracting if I don't clearly hear the voice and then have to try to match the symbols on the phone with the Chinese characters on the signs while I drive. Taiwan is almost officially bilingual (2030) so all the street signs have their Roman equivalent. If the…

    Permanent road closures in London
    There have been so many new road closures due to the LTN scheme (low traffic neighbourhoods). There is nowhere on the app that allows you to say that the road has been blocked to traffic in both directions at a particular point and that it is a road closure – usually permanent. Please add permanent road closure as an option.

    Add a feature for police traveling in unmarked cars in your lane. To warn wazers ahead of you within a certain speed radius. Not sure if that’s doable.

  7. Motorcyclist Approaching / Fast Vehicle Approaching Report

    Some motorists like to weave in and out through traffic. Often times, these drivers/riders are only noticed once they fly by, which can be dangerous or fatal for anyone involved. We can increase driver awareness by adding a “Motorcycle Approaching” or “Fast Vehicle Approaching” feature in the Navigation mode. This will warn other Wazers that a fast motorcycle or fast vehicle may be approaching and to be extra cautious when merging. With a larger audience aware of fast-approaching vehicles, we can attempt to save more lives.

  10. More advance notice on warnings while driving

    For more time to respond while driving to safety warnings it would be great to allow them to come in a mile or so in advance. This would allow accurate time to respond and safely transition to another lane… It would be good also if this was available for police warnings as well.

  14. Mark roads/routes safe for women travelling alone

    I usually drive alone and as a woman travelling solo there have been some roads on which I have been somehow scared due to their lack of illumination/population nearby. I was wondering if you have ever thought about adding a feature that would flag roads safe for women travelling alone. For me, I would definitely feel safer knowing that the route is well lit/populated/does not go through dangerous neighborhoods and I wouldn't mind if it's not the shortest or quickest route as long as I feel safe.   18. Report and block dangerous routes

    I absolutely love your products, however there’s a major flaw in that you direct users through extremely dangerous areas in South Africa. This includes a well known Johannesburg hijack and robbery hotspot and yet I can’t report it nor block it on my route.

  20. Reduce taps required from search to navigation

    Currently from the time I see an address for which I've searched to when I'm able to just drive and see the map and directions, there are FOUR TAPS in between those two things happening.

    Tap 1 — Seeing the address as text in search results.
    Tap 2 — Seeing the address as an official box in results.
    Tap 3 — Seeing the address on a map with parking options
    Tap 4 — Directions calculated, and clearing option to choose routes.

    When a person is starting to drive, that's quite frustrating.
