  2. Integration with ODB2 to display car information

It would be great to have the car's features displayed on Waze via an OBD2 connection, at least temperature, speed (already available through GPS), fuel consumption, and oil pressure.

Integration with Car Scanner, for example!

  3. Low clearance road

    Good morning, everyone!
I would like to suggest adding a “low-clearance road” warning or avoidance option in Waze. Some roads are not suitable for sports cars or vehicles with low ground clearance, and ending up on one can cause drivers to get stuck, leading to backups or unnecessary delays for others who follow the same route.
It would be very helpful if Waze offered an option - when starting a drive - to avoid low-clearance roads, similar to avoiding dirt roads or tolls. This would improve routing accuracy, prevent traffic issues, and help protect vehicles that are more sensitive to…

  4. Sub selection of points under one POI umbrella. Like a mall with multiple entrance points

If i choose to go to a mall, it takes me to main entrance. But a user might wish to go to a specific gate of the mall, In this case, once a user selects mother POI, a popup of gates appears for user to choose

  5. It would be helpful to have improved tools for marking closed or restricted roads, managing HOV/toll lanes, and updating traffic rules.

It would be helpful to have improved tools for marking closed or restricted roads, managing HOV/toll lanes, and updating traffic rules more quickly. Better validation for edits and clearer guidance for new editors would make contributions more accurate and reduce errors in the map.

  6. Batch Input Road Closures

We have several large construction projects that will span several months, with mostly repeating road closures (Ex: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM). The only way I'm aware of to add these is by each individual day, then repeating next day, which gets tiring. There should be an option to bulk upload a closure, selecting the days of the week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Etc.) and the time it applies. There would also need to be an option to remove a closure on a specific day (Ex: Holidays).

  7. WME Notes List

Should add a tab in the left side panel with a list of all our Notes and those we have answered so we can quickly find them again on the map.

  8. 2 Fixed Safety Cameras alerting suggestion

There are 2 fixed safety cameras located on Kwinana Freeway in Perth northbound at Mill Point Road and Gentilli Way that not only catch speeding, but also mobile phone and seatbelt infractions. Currently both are only indicated and treated as a speed camera on waze, so they only make an alert sound when speeding. Might I suggest you activate the alert every time when passing as it is a multi purpose camera.

  9. Userability Issue: Notifications show up and cover important info on screen

Notifications about police, accidents, speed traps and cameras show upon the lower left corner of the screen and cover up important information. These notifications should show up elsewhere, so the important information isn't covered. Move the notifications to the top middle of the screen. There is no useful info there.

  10. An easy to find link that list all the terms for reporting that waze will reconize.

When I’m driving with Waze, I hear reports for many different road issues. However, when I try to report those same issues using the exact wording Waze uses, the app doesn’t recognize them. For example, Waze announces a “pothole,” but to report it, you have to say “pothole on road.”
There should be a list accessible from the three-line menu in the top-left corner that shows each incident and the exact terms required to report it. This would reduce frustration and encourage more users to report issues.
Also, the spoken options shown under the bottom-right triangle aren’t recognized when said…

  11. Traffic Event closure selection

When selecting the closures tab, there should be a hierarchy for the default closures displayed. If there are no verified closures (such as when copying a Traffic Event), the list should switch to the Unverified closures list. If there are no verified or unverified closures, the list should default to the failed closures.

  13. Cream Color Road Color Marking for Roads without asphalt/tarmac/unpaved.

If a road segment does not have asphalt/tarmac or is unpaved, it is indicated with the color cream on the map. That way drivers know the road condition.
When editing the maps, this would have to be taken into consideration to indicate how smooth/rough the road is(No Asphalt/No Tarmac/Unpaved?)

  14. Copy button for segment/place address

Very often you have to search info for address while editing maps and it could be made a lot easier by adding a copy button to copy address on properties panel. Or maybe 2 buttons, 1st for just the street name, 2nd for whole address.

  15. Save all native WME client settings on server side

Base WME client settings are only saved to the local machine, as every time you log in somewhere on a new workstation, you have to go restore your preferences such as Environment, Language, Imperial/Metric, Compact Mode, Transparent Arrows, etc.

However, with the implementation of Issue Tracker, saved filter settings are immediately accessible upon a new login, proving that WME user settings can be saved at the server end.

Please save all native WME settings on the server side so that they are already in place when an existing editor logs in on a new workstation for the first time.

  16. Here are several feature ideas that could significantly improve the Waze driving experience:Showing the averag

    1. Average Speed Display
Showing the average speed between speed cameras or along specific road segments to help drivers maintain legal and safe speeds.

    2. Road Bumps and Potholes Alerts
Allowing users to report speed bumps, potholes, and damaged road surfaces to warn other drivers and improve ride safety.

    3. Public Restroom Locations
Adding clearly marked public toilet locations along routes and in urban areas for drivers who need quick stops.

    4. Vehicle Type Selection (Cars & Trucks)
Enabling drivers to select their vehicle type, including trucks and delivery vehicles, so routes are optimized based on road width, height restrictions, and inaccessible streets.

    5. Multi-Stop…

  18. Fix the bug where it says you must submit current edits for review before you can edit another segment.

There's a bug where it says, "To edit another section, you must submit current edits for review." However, I have no edits ready to submit. After a few refreshes, one may show up so I deleted any edit shown under the "submit edits" button and start over but end up with the same error message.

So either there's a bug or you can't edit the speed limit on multiple segments of the same road at the same time? If that's the issue, then that would also be a pain. In about one mile of road in my local neighborhood, I'm…

  19. Add cycling tracks for end-users and "Waze Edit mode"

Make cycling an option for end-users and in "Edit mode", alongside the existing options for Road, Walking Trail, Roundabout, and Junction box, considering there is more and more bicycle usage across the globe.

  20. Show the direction of travel on one-way streets

I was driving through a downtown area yesterday that has a lot of one-way streets. I was trying to leave the area, but couldn't see which one-way street was going in the direction I needed to go. Can waze put arrows in the direction of travel allowed on one-way streets?
