2. Aviso de aclive/declive acentuado.

   Importante colocar aviso de aclive/declive acentuado principalmente em ruas coletoras/arteriais/vias expressas/federais e etc. Poderia ter a função também de o motorista, nas configurações, colocar pra "evitar", nunca mandar ou permitir vias com aclives e declives muito acentuados, e colocar a tonelada(a medida do carro). Deve ser colocado manualmente no Waze Map Editor. Nível 1 podem editar isto. O aviso é oral pelo som de navegação escolhido pelo motorista. Deve ser colocado visualmente também.

3. You can't go to the event announcement page from the live map page, right?

   Currently, you can go to the live map from the event announcement page, but you can't go to the event announcement page from the live map. It would be more convenient if you could go there. It would be easier to understand if you put it above the edit button on the live map.

   Gostaria de compartilhar algumas sugestões para melhoria do Waze Map Editor (WME), baseadas na experiência diária como editor ativo. Acredito que essas ideias podem ajudar a tornar o processo de edição mais ágil, eficiente e menos repetitivo, beneficiando toda a comunidade.

   Seleção múltipla com o mouse: Permitir que o editor selecione vários segmentos de uma só vez arrastando o cursor (como uma caixa de seleção). Isso tornaria mais fácil aplicar alterações em massa.
   Pré-configuração de segmentos: Criar uma funcionalidade onde o editor possa definir previamente as configurações (tipo de via, sentido, velocidade, regras de trânsito) antes de iniciar a criação dos segmentos. Assim, todos os segmentos criados em sequência já viriam com essas definições aplicadas, agilizando o trabalho.
   Essas melhorias deixariam a edição muito mais ágil, intuitiva e menos repetitiva, gerando ganho de produtividade e beneficiando toda a comunidade de editores.

7. Registered adress for work-study student

   It could be cool if you can add school next to the home and work registered places on your Waze for student who work and go to school. I know that you can add a place but just a cool small shortcut to do that

8. Spike Risk Area Alert

   I’d like to propose a new community-reportable hazard feature for Waze specific to South Africa’s growing road safety issue.

   Over the past few years, there has been a serious increase in criminal incidents involving metal spikes being placed on roads especially on poorly lit highways and rural routes at night. Criminals use these spikes to cause tire blowouts or immobilize vehicles, forcing drivers to stop and then robbing or attacking them.

   Why Waze Users Need This:
   Many Waze drivers rely on Waze to avoid police traps, traffic, and accidents. Being able to mark or receive warnings about known “spiking hotspots” or recent spike incidents would save lives and prevent violent crime.

   Just like the current “Police ahead”, “Crash”, or “Hazard on road” alerts, this would help users make safer driving decisions—especially at night.

   Suggested Feature Name:
   “Spike Alert” or “Road Spiking Hotspot”

   Suggested Functionality:
   Allow Wazers to report a “Spike Incident” or “Spiking Risk Area”, similar to other hazard types.

   Allow for time-sensitive alerts (eg. higher visibility at night) since most spike incidents happen after dark.

9. Create a separate field for road numbers

   Whilst the addition of road shields has been excellent, I do think there should be a separate road number category with the road shield only applying to that instead of the street/alternate names. This will allow for a more accurate result with any addresses that are on roads that have a designated number as well as keeping consistency as sometimes the same address can apply to two different road types.

   There had previously been discussions in the UK Waze community Discord regarding road numbers and only using them in the alternate address field. Currently this proposal is on hold due issues associated with this proposal, the main issue being the loss of road shields appearing in the client app.

   Currently if you apply a road shield to a segment that doesn't have a road number, it will apply itself to all segments with the same name regardless of the road type erroneously.

   Also, many primary streets, minor highways and major highways are referred to by their names and not their number including their names which is what many prefer when turning out of streets on to roads which also have a number as well as a name.

   My idea:
   As I originally said there should be a separate field for a road number (which should be optional to fill) with the road shield only applying to that field. When navigating, the tts should only read out one of the filled in fields. By default it should be only the street name if one has been entered. If the street name is blank, only then it should say the road number if it's been entered.

10. Save speed history

    Got into a run in with an aggressive cop said I was speeding and other bs, my Waze app was on, it would be the best if I could have seen the history of speed bc I genuinely don't believe I was speeding or it was a fair stop.

11. Apple Calendar Integration for Smart Navigation Suggestions

    I would like to request an integration between Waze and Apple’s native Calendar app. If I have events scheduled with associated locations, Waze should be able to access this information and proactively suggest navigation — similar to how it currently suggests driving to “Home” or “Work”.

    In Apple CarPlay, there is already a one-tap button to start navigation to Home or Work without opening any menu. This same functionality could be extended to also suggest navigation to the location of the current or upcoming calendar event.

    This automation would significantly enhance the user experience and allow Waze to better integrate into the daily habits of iPhone users, aligning more closely with Apple’s ecosystem and native workflows.

14. Feature Proposal: Visual Markers for Start and End of Average Speed Zones

    Dear Waze Team,

    We are writing to you on behalf of the community of volunteer map editors and Waze app users in the Czech Republic. We would like to propose a new feature that, in our opinion, would significantly refine and clarify the display of average speed camera zones on the map.

    Currently, we lack an effective way to visually mark the precise start and end points of an average speed zone on the map. We therefore propose two possible solutions:

    1. A New Icon with No Sound Alert: We propose the introduction of a new, non-audible icon that editors could place at the beginning and end of a measured section.

    Visual Design: The icon could visually resemble the existing speed camera icon, or be only slightly modified, to maintain visual consistency.
    Key Feature: The most crucial aspect is that this icon would not generate any sound or voice alert. Its function would be purely informational, similar to the existing "fake speed camera" (placeholder) icon.

    1. Automatic Zone Display on the Map: An alternative, or complementary, solution would be the automatic visual highlighting of the start and end of the section directly on the app's map. As a driver approaches an average speed zone, the app would, in addition to the standard warning, display distinct points or lines on the map indicating exactly where the measurement begins and ends.

    Important Clarification:
    We want to emphasize that this proposal does not in any way affect the existing voice and visual warnings for the average speed zones themselves. We wish for these primary alerts to be fully retained in their current, functional form. Our goal is solely to supplement this feature with a precise and silent visual delineation of the zone.

    We believe that implementing one of the proposed options would provide drivers with valuable and clear information, improve the accuracy of the map data, and enhance the overall user experience of the Waze app.

17. Indicate tunnels in the map

    When work in progress associated with the vicinity of tunnels, a clear indication on the map of the tunnel precise location can help identifying if the danger is associated while exiting the tunnel or further away.
    This make a huge difference in the attention and help ease the driving.

19. Streamlining changes for adding house numbers

    I'd like to suggest two related changes regarding the addition of house numbers. These are small changes, but in UI design, frictions like this can add up when one is performing the same action over and over.

    1. Always keep the text field active when selecting a house number point

    After clicking to add a house number, the text field to enter the number is automatically active and can be typed in (which is great!) But, when clicking and dragging either the house number itself or the entry point, the cursor goes away, and one has to click the number field again to be able to enter a house number. Even worse, dragging the entry point along the road doesn't work at all, as it deselects the entire house number! To move the entry point, you have to deselect the house number by clicking outside of it, then click on it to reselect it, then click and drag on the entry point.

    The solution to this is to make the text field stay active when the house number is selected, even when dragging either of the points (or have the cursor dissapear momentarily but come back when you release the drag). One should also be able to drag the entry point without it deselecting the house number. That way, the user can perform any of the three actions (moving the house number point, moving the entry point, and editing the number itself) in any order, even more than once, without having to move their mouse around like a maniac.

    As a person with clumsy fingers that uses WME on a laptop, I would say about 30% of my time doing house numbers is spent fixing typos or misclicks. The change seems small, but if you're doing hundreds of house numbers on the same street and having to click three or four times per house number, it gets frustrating very quickly.

    1. When the entry point has been moved already, lock it in place when moving the house number point

    When doing house numbers, I place the point, input the number, and then move the entry point to the correct location. Sometimes, though, I will realize that the house number is misaligned after I do this, and move it to the correct position. The problem is, this resets the position of the entry point, because as the house number moves, the entry point is set to the nearest point on the road.

    I would propose that, if the user has already moved the entry point along the road for a given house number, it should assume it is at the correct location. So, if I go to move the house number itself, the entry point should stay where it is. If the entry point is not moved, however, it should behave as it does now, because it is nice to be able to drag along a house number and have its entry point come with it if I misclicked the location.

20. Add "Any date after today" for age of new aerial data requests (Request updated imagery)

    BLUF Recommend adding an option for “Any date after today” Especially for new construction.

    Thank you for adding the Request updated imagery straight from WME to the WME Beta site. It allows one to request imagery that is 1 year, 6 months, 1 month. To improve the process it would be great to add "Any date after today". For construction the new configuration may have occurred within the last month or significant changes were made within the last month (lane guidance painting, etc.
