  1. Show Where Community Schedules Are Used

In the Community Schedules section of the Waze Map Editor, please make the "Used In" count clickable or provide a way to show a list of school zones using a specific schedule. Currently, it only shows a number, not the actual locations. Recently, I was trying to find a school zone with an incorrect schedule so I could remove it and then delete the Community Schedule, but I couldn’t locate it even after searching an entire province and four major cities.

  4. Calques Cadastre

  5. Support optional "display name" specifically for Area Places

The "name" field of an Area Place serves two completely separate functions. First, it seeks to form, together with the address, a unique search hit; this could involve a lot of text. But second, it displays on the app for everyone nearby.

Most drivers probably don't care about detail in the displayed name; for them, excessive detail may distract rather than help. For example, in some countries editing conventions dictate that rest stops along freeways should have highly detailed primary names in order to make them useful search hits, such as:

    "Rest Area (no facilities) - I-680 mile 58 Benicia-Martinez…

  7. Exportable Layer

The consulting firm I work with does a lot of travel demand model updates and we use the Waze Map Editor quite a bit to update our network's posted speed. We would love to see a feature that allows for the exporting of a selected region's posted speed network to help make these speed updates more efficient. Is this a feature Waze can do now or possibly look into in the future?

  10. keyboard shortcut for adding POI

A significant workflow inefficiency within the Waze Map Editor (WME) currently stems from the lack of keyboard shortcuts for adding Points of Interest (POIs). Users are required to rely solely on mouse interaction – hovering over the POI menu and clicking the desired category – every single time they need to add a new point.
This becomes particularly tedious for editors who frequently utilize specific categories. For instance, I personally rely heavily on the 'OTHER' POI category. This isn't for standard points, but rather as a necessary workaround to map complex Residential Place Points (RPPs) or House Numbers (HNs) that…

  15. Better support for Rural map editors

I live in a VERY rural area. Quite often, I'll be driving but not get EA credit because I didn't have cell service. I can literally drive for 50+mi without any cell coverage. I drove 530 miles two days ago and maybe got credit for half of it.

I'd like it if map editors would have the ability to turn on some sort of feature in the app that saves their location history until cell service is restored. Also, as I have seen others suggest, a larger EA radius from a given drive would be very helpful out here as…

  16. The Speed Limit Icon is difficult to be seen. It could be same size as the Actual Speed Icon size.

I'm 69 Y/O My car (Audi Q5) has a small Apple Car Play screen. The Speed Limit Icon (Square White and Black) is difficult to be seen. Its size is to small. It could have the same size of the Actual Speed Icon (Round Black and red). The map allouds to bear a little bit bigger the Sped Limit Icon. IS it possible to increase it? Thank you for your support. 17. Adjustable Speeding Threshold for Accurate Alerts

    Dear Waze Team,
The current Waze speeding threshold (first photo) only allows alerts at or above the speed limit (e.g., 0, 5, 10 km/h above), which doesn’t account for discrepancies between vehicle speedometers and Waze’s speed readings. In my country, exceeding the limit by even 1 km/h (e.g., 101 km/h on a 100 km/h road) results in a ticket. However, Waze’s speed often reads lower than my vehicle’s speedometer—sometimes by 10 km/h—due to location accuracy and calibration differences. With Waze set to alert “at speed limit,” I receive no warning until my vehicle speedometer hits around 110 km/h, leading to…

  18. Make hazard potholes permanent

    Dear Waze Team,

Please consider adding the option to mark potholes as permanent hazards, similar to how permanent speed cameras are handled. In South Africa, many potholes remain unrepaired for months or even years. Making these hazards visible on a long-term basis would significantly improve road safety and help drivers avoid costly damage, accidents, and injuries.

This feature could make a real difference in countries where road maintenance is lacking, and it aligns perfectly with Waze’s mission to improve driving experiences through community-driven insights.

    Thank you for your consideration!

  19. Lane guidance: Make "View Only" and "View and Hear" behaviors consistent for "continue straight" lanes

In WME we have two options if we want to force "continue" lane guidance to be surfaced to the user - view only, and view and hear (or more recently, with and without audible instructions).

Aside from the obvious difference in whether or not an audible instruction is issued to "use the Left 3 lanes to continue straight ..." or only a visual instruction, there's another more subtle behavior change that is not always welcome - namely, if you use the "View and Hear" option, it is additionally treated as a "Continue" TIO (turn instruction override). This means that, if…

  20. Voice Updates

For reporting of Voice Updates of Hazards etc, the button should be bigger and should not conflict with other buttons or map options, if possible if we speak like "waze" and then report a hazard etc this should work with voice command without pushing any buttons
