  1. Allow Waze to access Google location history

    Especially for new editors, it would be handy to be able to let Waze read your Google location history (or have a way to import it manually) so that it can use that to establish your "area". You wouldn't technically be allowing people to expand their "areas" to places they haven't already been, just giving Waze a second source of data to look at. As a new editor in a US state that is more on the rural side, this would be quite handy, as my area currently represents a small portion of the "area" I'm familiar with and this…

    If i want to create a new street that already exists on google maps maybe is easy and much faster to import from google maps

    option to be added for users to select that they are in a van or work vehicles which will show them // detour around restricted areas for specified vehicles?

  5. Automatically create shapes for nature areas such as water or forrest

    When adding certain nature-related areas such as water for ponds, lakes, etc., and forests it takes a lot of time and clicking to get them in place. It would be useful if we could point to an area and the map editor looked at that area, e.g., a lake, and then automatically create a shape from the contours of the nature feature. Then we could adjust it manually if needed before saving.

  6. Change color of nature from pink to a color that matches the feature

    Sometimes when being zoomed in to the map and working with different nature features such as water or forest, it is hard to see what is what. Would it be possible to make water a blue color instead of the pink color and forest green instead of pink?

  7. Add height, width restriction for roads, and height, width of vehicle as config option

    It is very annoying using Waze and being routed on some shortcut through a tunnel or some narrow road where your car doesn't fit.
    This happened to me few times while driving a camper.

  10. Ability to lock screen while riding

    Whilst riding (motorcycle) in the rain, the rain can oftentimes register as accidental touches, causing unintentional actions (panning, changing destination etc).

    The option to lock the screen from accidental touches and perhaps a simple press and hold or unlock gesture to re-enable touches would help to prevent accidental/unintentional inputs and would reduce avoidable hassle whilst riding in (already) difficult circumstances

  11. Traffic Indication on UR reports

    When dealing with Update Requests, I'm seeing quite a few which has dubious waze navigation instructions where having an indication of the traffic levels at the exact point of the report being made would be quite advantageous.

    In this example, was the bad navigation due to traffic levels, or do we have a serious mapping issue? Can't tell with the limited amount of information made available by the UR report.

  12. Add an alert feature for vehicle driving in wrong direction on highway

    Hi,

    Recently in my neighborhood there was an incident where a southbound vehicle travelled on a northbound lane which resulted in a fatal accident. I have not been able to stop thinking about this incident.

    When this incident occurred, there were several calls made to 911 by commuters who noticed the vehicle driving on the wrong side. Is it possible that Waze could tie up with 911 or capture this information is some way and get an alert out to other commuters who are unaware of such a vehicle?   13. Change URL on edits link from zoom=3 to zoomLevel=19

    At this time, from the recent edits of a user is quite zoomed out, and could do with being zoomed in a bit. However, the URL uses zoom instead of zoomLevel, which means either a bit of typing or having to manually search the requested edit.

    For example, starting at https://www.waze.com/en-GB/user/editor/BeRoWaz I click edit and the URL looks something like:
    https://www.waze.com/editor?lon=-0.13972619910350798&lat=51.52628621696506&zoom=3

    I have to manually change that URL to something like:
    https://www.waze.com/editor?lon=-0.13972619910350798&lat=51.52628621696506&zoomLevel=19

    The request is that the URL is edited to be zoomLevel=19 instead of zoom=3

  14. Waze Map Editor rework

    Enhance the Waze Map Editor to emulate the user-friendly interface and intuitive features recently introduced in the revamped Google Maps road editor. The current design and user interactions within the Waze Map Editor, particularly when adding new roads, can be quite hard.

    Add a summary report at the end of a drive that can be broken out into details between waypoints, such as time, avg speed, etc... Allow addition of gas fillup stops to get overall improved MPG stats

  16. Ability to add Funeral Procession in USA Maps

    Ability to add Funeral Procession in USA Maps. Recently I attended a funeral, and it was escorted by police cops. Police cops were directing traffic and managing it between funeral house and Cemtery.

    Waze can provide an ability to user where they can mark the Start (Funeral Home, Mosque, Synagogue, Temple, Church etc.) and cemetery and Waze adds an indication that there is funeral processing going on or will be going on.

    This will help other Wazers to plan accordingly

  17. Show only POI which are along the route to destination

    Show only POI which are along the route to destination. While a user is driving, typically user will like to see POS like Gas Station, Coffee Shop, Hair Salon which is along the route in SAME direction as his/her destination.

    Make UX simpler so user can pick POI which are along the route in 1, 2 miles or 5, 10 minutes increments.

    Ability to Bulk Delete RECENT in Mobile App. Over time RECENT section in Mobile App gets full of all the drives. Provide the ability to bulk delete all the recent drives.

  19. Sebességkorlátozás megváltoztatása

    Budapesten a Váci úton az M0 felé haladva az Óceánárok kereszteződés után van egy 60-as tábla, majd kb. 80 m után Budapest vége tábla, de a Waze továbbra is a 60 km/h-s korlátozást jelzi., ami helytelen. Kérem javítását.
