If you live close by (or drive around it) you can fix it yourself in the waze editor.

Too many possible false warnings... dynamic situations that won't be valid in 5 minutes (depending on the speeding ;) . I'm not for ;)

For Zsiraf ... there are 3 big players now... carplay (apple), Androidauto (google), mirrolink (open consortium). All 3 would be nice, this idea is pro carplay, but you can find the other 2 also in ideas on the waze suggestion.
A lot of cars nowadays come with Mirrorlink.

Boils down to the same thing, waze gets you places, but you may get routed on ways you don't want to be on.

No it doesn't. Nowhere you enter how many people are in the car, and it doesn't "scan" the car. to be fair none of the GPS systems I know use that fact.

search for pedestrian in the search box to the right and give 3 votes to the highest ranking idea that is the same as this one.
it worked before with messqge/e-mail.... all contacts is for a lot of people a 'no no'. On the other hand, as 'long time' waze user I've never noticed waze using my contacts for anything else.
