Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

This is a very common in Ireland, where roundabouts are also commonplace. If a user enters a roundabout in the wrong lane, they can be stuck and unable to exit the roundabout at the correct lane for their destination.

This is important for navigation in Ireland. When I get somebody to come to my house (such as a plumber), I give them the eircode first and maaaybe the house number and street number second.
This may be an issue in other countries too. I think Singapore has postcodes that are unique to each building (not quite as fine-grained as Ireland, where you can have many eircodes for a building if it has lots of addresses in it (such as an apartment building)
