    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    Yes! My state needs to have "-ville" cities pronounced as "-vihl" not "-vuhl"; we don't live in the southeast! We also have a peculiar pattern for pronouncing certain 5 digit number streets, and there's no way I'd be able to have that implemented if it had to be countrywide.

    I also would love to see overridden pronunciation being used for nearly all TTS in the app, not just turn instructions, so destinations are also pronounced correctly, and the "Let's take ... and ..." route descriptions at the beginning of a drive also use those overrides.
