Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

Parts of the UK have publicly available traffic camera feeds (image snapshots not live moving, although broadcasters can get a live moving feed). E.g. Traffic England Website, TFL.

Allow me to extend my current route to add a new stop after the current one (even if only a favourite).
Also allow a stop to be added to current running route before end.

Adjustment for hazard reporting for the new UK "Smart Motorways"--Car stopped in refuge (rather than stopped off road).

Try Citymapper. Already has all you are asking for, covers many cities around the world. Has a pre-requisite that the city has a existing data feed for buses/metro/trains.
