Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

Thank you for your suggestion!
This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.
Stay tuned for more features and updates on Waze’s social pages on Facebook and Instagram. An error occurred while saving the comment

The app is only half as effective without this...
Also need a 'both sides' option such as construction with temporary traffic lights.

Waze can then include features such as navigating through tunnels by using the current speed/direction/position from the car, examine the range of the remaining fuel to then provide an alert to fill up with fuel at the cheapest station within that range, use information such as fuel economy to provide more accurate costs of journeys/plan most economic routes.
The app could be so much smarter and more pro-active...
