Police Zones
Every time you drive on the highway, there are always spots where cops will hide out. Most people will slow down near no u-turn areas because they know of cops hiding there. When somebody makes a report of a cop in an area multiple times, zones or blue circles should be lightly covered on the map and fade over time. Protest the removal of the police warning feature!
The Sheriff's association is using the tired old excuse that the police warning feature in the Waze app "could be used by terrorists." That is a RIDICULOUS excuse! The truth is that they just don't want us having the ability to warn others about their friggin' speed traps, and they don't want us avoiding tickets! Terrorists my shiny white butt! automatic accident
If your car comes to a sudden halt or veers off course dramatically and unexpectedly, have waze pop up with a message asking if you have been in a accident. The message must stay for 5 seconds, and if you do not cancel it or press the "NO" button, it automatically alerts a nominated friend and sends them the last known location

Voice activated way to close the app.
Hi,
I would love if there was a way to turn off the app or close the app with a voice prompt, or at least an easy button to touch on the main screen of the route page. It's very distracting and dangerous to have to go back a screen and push two little buttons to go into the sleep mode on the app. Please work on this for driver safety reasons. Having the option to disregard traffic when driving a bike as traffic has no impact on a bike

I am a great supporter of your app. Thank you !
Actually I drive my motorbike more than my car and I love using Waze in both cases.
However, I suggest you set a function we can use when driving a bike because, as you may konw, in France, bikes are used to avoid traffic.
Therefore, traffic has no incidence on time and should not have any incidence on the recomended itinerary.Or maybe simply put a button saying « disregard traffic jams »

Add traffic camera report option for fixed highway cameras
Had traffic camera report option for stationary highway monitoring cameras. These are not red light cameras and these are not speed traps.

Add authorized Vehicles only entrances on highways to map
When driving on a highway where the two directions have land in between them and often there are many trees in that area, it would be good Sea on the map where the entrances are for authorized Vehicles only that go from one side of the highway to the other side of the highway. This is often where maintenance Vehicles Park and also law enforcement vehicles. It is often hard to see if there are any vehicles parked there until you actually pass the area especially if there are a lot of trees there.

Actually, I don't have a real idea, I just want to give you guys a feedback. I'm a long time heavy user of Waze (3 to 4 hours daily), however It think that I'll have to stop using the app. Your last version was not developed for Android. Nothing is working appropriately, for real. The app cannot find any good route for me, idk if you guys changed the algorithm behind the searching process, but it is not good anymore. List search results by shortest time to arrive, not distance or location
right now if i search for a chain store (like starbucks) I get a list of locations. what i really need to know is which location will take me the least time to reach.

Why can't you let drivers have the cool moods let the editors.And please fix the Speedy mood can't tell which is male or female.

Seperation of the green and red selection boxes by puttone one in each corner of the screen
Separate the "Green and Red" balloon check boxes to confirm or deny an event by putting them in opposite sides of the screen instead of right next to each other so I quit fat fingering the wrong one.

Show current direction and the next direction similar to google maps
I love using waze but one thing that always annoys me, especially when in areas I am not familiar with, is not knowing what the next direction is until I've completed the first.
For example, when exiting a highway there is no indication of if you should be turning left or right at the on-ramp until you have gotten close to the end of the ramp. I would find it really helpful if in scenarios like this the directions read "take exit ramp on right and then get in far left lane to take a left" or something similar to…9 votes -
update alerts for other side of road
I would like to be able to update alerts on either side of the road as no longer there, not just the side of the road I'm traveling on. Just like how Waze currently asks if a hazard is still there if it's in my traveling direction, it'd be nice to be able to click on a hazard or alert on the opposite side of the road and delete it if it's no longer there or relevant.

Switzerland
Hi, it would be helpul to implement a Switzerland specific option, because, there, motorways are paid by a yearly "vignette". And people driving only a few km per year on these motorways, for instance to go to Geneva airport from France, may be interested by an option "Avoid Switzerland motorways (vignette)". Indeed the already existing options "avoid motorways" and "avoid paying roads" are too drastic for a journey in other countries, too.
