Buen día, les escribo desde Lima – Perú, quiero comentarles que en Lima existen los denominados OPERATIVOS POLICIALES, que consisten en que un grupo de policías, se ponen a un lado de la vía (cualquier vía),
Y detienen a todos los vehículos con la finalidad de pedirles todos los documentos del carro y personales, de faltar alguno piden plata, en ese sentido generan mucho tráfico y demora a los conductores, en ese sentido, a fin de evitar estos operativos policiales muy frecuentes, tengo la idea de que ustedes puedan desarrollar un ícono que consista solamente en OPERATIVO POLICIAL de control,…4 votes -
Feedback on routes
After a drive I would like to give feedback on the navigation. I would log in to a web site, find my route, view on a map and then be able to click and say "Here, Waze said 'At the roundabout, take the third exit' but it should have said 'At the roundabout, take the third exit and then keep left'". I have many cases where there is room for minor improvement like this - but too minor to be done while driving.

The price of petrol (Australian version), is shown as $ per 100 liters. It is actually sold per liter. An option to edit this please.

Hi, during the last month my Waze froze many times because of popup ads I didn't pay attention to while driving. Bad PR for you!'
Today I had to restart my phone in order to get rid of these ads on waze.

Speed Trap notifications
I'd like to see permanent or semi-permanent notifications for known speed traps. I'd also like to post about said traps so others don't get caught but can't figure out how to drop a notification remotely

Bár előző ötletemre sem kaptam választ, de azért megosztok egy-két újat...
1. Kellene a hangulatomnál lenni, egy olyan autó figurának, amire ha valaki átvált, akkor a többiek tudják hogy az illetővel karambol, baleset történt...egymásnak könnyebben segítenénk így...talán lenne, aki messzebbről is oda menne segíteni...- Nem tudom meddig marad látható, ha valaki megjelöl valamit...Trafipax, karambol, stb. Azt tapasztalom, hogy már rég óta megszűnt, és még mindig ott a jel. Sőt! Van hogy valaki szórakozásból jelöl! Ma a Balatontól visszafelé annyi helyen volt trafipax jelölve, hogy annyi nem is létezik... Sajnos arra még nem jöttem rá, hogy hogyan lehet ezeket…

incorrect directions, unable to respond to editor request on phone app
I was asked for more specific qustion about a map error and couldn't respond as there was no way that I could see how. I have responded in to map editors in the past but in this instance they asked for an address but I was unable to respong, therefor the case was closed when it REALLY needed to be addresse. Twice I was taken to the wrong place with the address. Even the receptionist at the business said that is quite the problem with the app as it is taking people to w. main instead of main. the address…

Contrast on daylight mode - Contraste sur le mode de jour
On the daylight mode, there is not enough contrast for the small roads.
Sur le mode de jour, il n'y a pas assez de contraste pour les petites routes.

Community-generated driving route recommendations
Is it possible for Waze (though, this definitely needs approval and careful study) to include a feature for the drivers to suggest or make possible route recommendations? Anyway, Waze is community-generated. Google search results are often inaccurate, based on the reports that we have been receiving.
As the driver, always (or often or most of the time) know the possible route or driving direction. And possibly with this, other wazers will be able to contribute to the route. A wazer may suggest a possible route for others to follow.
I just thought of having some sort of 'crowd sourcing' in…

Why can't I get the route I want? I want to go from L.A. to San Francisco via route 101. Why Can't I get that on Waze?
I want to take route 101 to San Francisco from L.A. Why can't I do it? It is not a choice of route and I can't adjust the route. Also, why does it keep sending me thorough TOLL roads? I don't want to go through tolls.

lock screen orientation
My screen is constantly flipping and tumbling while I'm on the move, making the visual map virtually useless. A simple option to lock orientation in the app would solve this.

When searching a company along your route
when searching a company along your route, WAZE should show these findings along your route. There is yet an app to do this successfully. When your search just "gas" or "fast food" it does an amazing job but when you search "McDonald's" or "Carl's Jr" it only shows locations scattered around you not along your route. This could be very helpful for family trips to plan out stops or if in route to be able to quickly see if you need to stop right there or if there is a location worth waiting for maybe 10 miles down the freeway…

Add "Construction" to Hazards > Shoulder
I often see shoulder construction which impacts highway speed, but can only report as either Vehicle stopped on shoulder or On Road > Construction

add slow moving vehicle category
add a category whichwould allow users to identify if there are slow moving vehicles such as semi trucks Amish buggies or farm vehicles on route
