  3. Minimize icons and distracting alerts

    Your map is getting more and more filled with other waze drivers, gas stations, McDonald's and more. Yesterday I screenshot and counted 19 things. As a driver I have less than 1 second to look and see what is important to my drive. If you keep "junking it up" i will switch apps because your features are getting more unsafe

    Re: my report to you yesterday. On Santa Fe, there are 2 signs for Hampton Ave. Hampton Ave South Exit or Hampton Ave North Exit. To tell me to take Hampton Ave West because that is the name of the road is just not helpful.

  7. 2 step alerts

    The alerts are awesome. My issue is that the prompt to confirm the alert (“still there” / “not there”) is too early for me to determine if it is. For example, I can’t see an object in the road that’s 1/2 a mile away. Because the pop up is distracting, half the time I just click that it’s still there. I wonder if there could be a two step process. So, 1. The alert 2. Once you’re closer to it “still there”?

    A "Baby in the car" button. This will add areminder +alarm when you finish the ride and arrive at the destination. To percent a terrible sad problem in hot countries, death of forgotten babies.

  11. Waze to give a number of CO2 saved by driving slower

    I’ve noticed on my Waze that they now regularly pop up and say that driving below X speed will save CO2. It would be so much better if they could give a number. You could then have a carbon emmisions tab on the app tracking your CO2 savings and output and maybe even an option to carbon offset? It would also be even better if it used your number plate and data from the DVLA to properly calculate emmisions for your vehicle

    I am a resident of the island of Reunion, and I am passionate about this island. I regularly travel the island, and I am able to list all the companies in the entire territory.

    Release 4.96. UI is terrible. (1) If you have BLUE buttons do NOT MAKE THE HIGHLIGHT RING AROUND THEM BLUE! Use a high contrast color like YELLOW so it can be seen easily. (2) Fix the LAG when submitting an issue. After hitting HAZARD, I am unable to pick on-road/on shoulder, or back , or close that screen for 5 seconds. If I pick ON-ROAD, I can not pick the next set of choices for 5 seconds. UI recognizes clicks, but nothing happens. (3) Fix the TAB ORDER on the main screen, especially when a warnign comes up.     Using Waze I drove from Long Branch NJ to Merrick NY. I was directed from NJ Rt. 36 onto the express lanes of the Garden State Parkway north to exit at exit 125. The express lanes end 1/4 mile from exit 125 on the right, requiring that I cut across 3 lanes of moving traffic at a high speed in a very short distance in order to get to the exit.   20. Gas search results too far from current location

    When I am on a long trip and search for gas stations the nearest results seem to be too far from my current location (30 mi or more). I have to switch to Google maps do a separate search for gas near me and then go back to Waze, which is a big hassle while driving.
