2. navigation software within the railway sector.

   Hello Waze Team,

   I would like to share an idea with you regarding the potential use of your navigation software within the railway sector. As you may guess, I work for the Bulgarian State Railways (BDŽ), but unfortunately I am not in a position that would allow me to influence the management to reach out to you directly. As you probably know, in state administration and state-owned companies, most decisions are not made based on market principles or rational assessment.

   For this reason, among many others, the management and traffic safety in recent times have significantly deteriorated. The numerous incidents over the past year are a clear indication of this. As a result, the Ministry of Transport and Communications is currently introducing additional measures aimed at improving safety. Some of these measures were intended to be short-term and should already have produced results. Generally speaking, they involve tightening discipline among train crews and traffic dispatchers. As someone working inside the system, I can say that the effect will not be substantial, and after some time things will return to the previous state due to numerous unresolved issues and the severely demotivated staff at all levels.

   Railway safety systems are extremely expensive. In Bulgaria we still have not implemented modern solutions such as ERTMS/ETCS, which is one of the reasons why train speeds are limited to 130 km/h, despite the infrastructure being built for higher speeds.

   While it may be difficult to influence the international systems in place, I believe that with the right approach it might be possible to explore whether there is interest in introducing—at least as a short-term internal measure—a Waze-based application adapted for railway transport. Such a system could serve as an alternative, easy-to-implement, user-friendly and more cost-effective option providing an additional layer of safety. As a global company with extensive experience, I am confident that you would be able to find the right approach to promote and adapt such an application in a way that would be applicable and beneficial for BDŽ.

   Revamp the entire EV charging options/filters/functionality
   Many good ideas for improvement already in the suggestion box that should be implemented. There should also be a filter for Tesla stations that are Tesla only, so that those with adapters unable to use those locations can filter them out.

5. Make the "Start Now" button optional.

   Hello, I am surprised and wondering what the ‘Start Now’ button is for. To me, it is obvious that when I enter a route into my GPS, it is to set off or to see how long the journey will take. So why does Waze ask if we want to set off? Would it not be possible to make this optional in the settings? Thank you.

   Bonjour, mon idée serait de pouvoir associer l utilisation de la caméra du téléphone ou du véhicule avec votre application. Cette amélioration pourrait apporter une sécurité sur l itinéraire des utilisateurs au même titre qu une dashcam. A charge à l utilisateur de l activer ou non. Déplus en cas d accident sur le trajet Waze et l utilisateur pourrait récupérer les enregistrements pour se défendre éventuellement.
   Cette amélioration permettrer d éviter d avoir plusieurs dispositifs pour un même véhicule. Deplus maintenant avec car play l utilisateur pourrait même utiliser la caméra du véhicule directement.

11. I need to contact Google support

    and you guys are owned by Google. My accounts were hacked. I need a phone number that I can use to call Google customer support. At this point I would make an entirely new Gmail account and set up google ads so I could get in contact with somebody, but if the phone line is going to be locked behind a paywall, you might as well just let me pay for it directly instead of forcing me to backdoor my way in through creating additional google accounts.

    can waze pop up a message to driver, drive slow to 20km/h(or some specific detected speed ) to keep distance with front car & change to slow lane. and who accept this get the reward.

    I would like to have a live activity on my phone just like google maps have been testing out so you can see the progress of your trip. When I share my eta with someone, it would be cool if they got a live activity just like Lyft/uber does. Also it would be awesome if it automatically shared eta and live activity every time you drive to or from a particular place 🤓
