Waze should not alert users about police presence
I suggest that Waze should not alert users about police presence. This would condone drunk driving and endanger personal and community safety. It will also make police enforcement more difficult if used by criminals. Remember “ Do No Evil”.

"Always Avoid This Intersection"
Waze needs an "Always Avoid This Intersection" feature.
Waze consistently routes me to turn left at a traffic light at an intersection that has 6 lanes of traffic merging into a single lane to get on to a freeway which is also controlled by a traffic light. The congestion there is ALWAYS terrible and easily adds 20 minutes to my commute. Users with local knowledge should be able to specify intersections to avoid at all times. This "avoid list" would be user specific, thereby allowing each user to maintain it (add/delete intersections) as necessary.3 votes -
Passer manuellement à l'étape suivante
Quand on a défini une étape sur le trajet (ex: Station essence), il serait intéressant de pouvoir indiquer manuellement que l'on a atteint l'étape souhaitée, et de lancer la trajet pour la destination suivante, sinon faut se rendre au point précis indiqué par Waze, qui n'est pas toujours correct dans certains cas.

Suppress public parking lots unless the destination does not have the "Customer Parking" box checked
The app far too often shows parking lots illogically, resulting in clutter and confusion. There is no need to show a public parking lot for a destination that has its own lot.

Dark Mode Map with Map Editor Road Colors
Dark mode map featuring the map editor colors. Background would be black with local streets showing up as white or very light grey, Primary Street shows up as yellow, minor highway as green, Major Highway as blue, and Freeway as purple.

Bug - option to set preferred fuel type has disappeared
Since updating my iPhone SE (2020) to IOS16, the option to set the preferred fuel type has disappeared. Please could we have it back?

gives users more info when they report map issues
Hi.
i want to say that at one time I reported a road closure, and when entering the options, I only saw the addition of a "comment". I wanted to include the street name so that the report would be clear, but I had to go out again, read the street name, and return to the report again! Can you imagine these steps while I am driving the vehicle? It's kinda complicated. I suggest adding a screen below the report "whatever kind" that shows you your location, the names of the streets around you, and the directions. "In order to…1 vote -

Changing the color or background of the exits
Right corner had a background of orange and letters or numbers where is white.
It was super hard to see if its 3B or 38 because of the white color.
Id suggest to change it to black letters or something. And when you look at it from far its not easy to see!I got a picture to show it but I dont know how to upload the picture

Improvement recommendations for Android Auto
- Bring back the voice search button (icon) to the screen even in AA also in local language (e.g. Hungarian)
- Tank station (and other POI) search along the calculated route with the calculated detour time in result list
- split screen support for the new AA (like in Google Maps)
- Automatic switch to bird view (route plan overview) if the distance between two navigation legs is over a given distance (e.g 5 km) and switch back to normal view at the next leg. It would be nice for follow up the current status of the vehicle on a longer route.

Still there button
When the “still there, not there” options appears, on many occasions when trying to select option, I’ve pressed the wrong one due to bumps in road causing hand to go up /down.
The shocks cause car to glide and causes up down motion.
If they were side by side, it would help prevent the “floating” hand moving up and down when trying to select.

User preferences for level of detail in turn instructions
I keep my audio set to "Alerts only" and am familiar with my metro area's turns and continuations and, when I preview my route's turns, I like for the list of instructions to be as concise as possible. I like that "View Only" instructions don't show up in that route preview.
But, for a turn instruction to be spoken, it must also be included in that list of instructions. This makes it more difficult for me to distinguish the key turns on my route; it may also be an unnecessary level of detail for other drivers who are already familiar…

More direct routes for emergency response services and fire hydrant locations.
Hi, I propose you look into a toggle option for navigation for emergency services organizations that completely ignores traffic regulations, stop signs traffic lights etc..
Emergency services need to take the fastest route while ignoring speed limits, traffic lights & signs.
It would be very helpful to have a navigation that made more direct routes that completely disregard these things and give you the absolute fastest route.
Also, it would be awesome if there could also be a toggle option to show fire hydrant icons / locations for firefighters.4 votes
