    Boa tarde, Waze!

    Tudo bem?

    Aqui quem fala é a Giovanna Machado.

    Sempre uso o aplicativo de vocês, tanto nos meus momentos de lazeres, nos finais de semana, como também no trabalho ou na faculdade.

    Faço esse trajeto (casa - faculdade) de Van, onde sou a primeira a ser pega e a última a ser deixada, gastando assim, duas horas do meu dia apenas em locomoção.

    Nesse meio tempo, reparei que a motorista realiza muitas voltas desnecessárias, onde acaba perdendo tempo por não saber calcular a rota mais fácil entre todas as casas nas quais ela precisa passar.

    In Italy the roundabout are quite recent and many people doesn't know very well where they have to stay and when use directions indicator.
    So could be usefull an option for it on navigator.

  4. choose my custom route!

    Have you ever thought that the driver does every day the same way to go to work or home, so he already has his favorite ways? Have you ever thought about leaving the driver predefine these paths and when to consult the routes have a new area for "Custom Routes" and showing the conditions of transit and time for those 3 chosen paths? I would feel more comfortable in knowing how long it would take if I had chosen that MY way specifically. Thanks!

  5. Waze for pedestrians

    It would be great if the simplicity of Waze events reporting could be used for pedestrian events like broken sidewalks, dirty streets, hazards, lightning malfunctions, etc. Something like https://www.fixmystreet.com/ is doing but simpler. Ideally it should take a few taps to be able to report a problem. This would raise number of reports significantly and would provide much granular (spatial and temporal) data. The most simple version would just introduce another set of event/problem categories.

  6. Diesel mit euro 4 -Norm in Großstädten

    Wenn mein Fahrtziel in einer größeren Stadt mit Einschränkungen für Diesel Pkw liegt (Hamburg), dann würde ich in der App gern die Möglichkeit haben, noch zugelassene Wege zum Ziel zu finden.
    Eine Unterteilung der Nutzer in euro 1-6 für die Fahrzeuge wäre hier ein hilfreicher Schritt, wenn dann die Kartenführung die Unterscheidung zulässt.

  9. METEO LUNGO IL PERCORSO E NELL'INDIRIZZO DI DESTINAZIONE

    dovete mettere anche il Meteo lungo il percorso! Consumerebbe un sacco di dati, ram e batteria, però sarebbe favoloso, poter vedere il meteo nella città destinataria e magari in quelle vicine dettate dalla mappa.

    Grazie a tutti, ottima applicazione, mi trovo sempre bene quando la uso!

    Indicar localização do radar, velocidade permitida e velocidade do veículo.
    As vezes passo por um radar distraído e depois da aquela dúvida cruel.

    Currently I work in the Guatemala Congress developing new laws for Infrastructure, we would like to build tunnels in the Metropolitan Area. However, we required demand information in order to make the tunnels feasible and economical viable. Current origin-destination survey methods are inaccurate, expensive and take time.
    Waze information would be valuable for the Government so the travel percentage of a sample may be projected to the car counting machines. Therefore, a complete survey for traffic optimizations tunnels could be done in days. Is there any possibility that the government may access some of the Guatemala traffic data?…

    Referring to the app’s developers - you can use google’s api in order to navigate to a user’s destination automatically (with long and lat). Can be very useful especially when using the mic while driving.

  14. Use predictive modeling to better route traffic during a major traffic event

    Western Washington state experienced a major traffic event when a train derailed and shut down Interstate 5 for the whole day. 60K vehicles use that stretch of I-5 every day. I used Waze to navigate home, but a 40 minute drive turned into 5.5 hours because of the accident and using side roads.

    Waze tried its best to find the best route, but the predicted two-hour drive kept getting worse and worse. Of course, there's not much historic information to know how to the side and back roads would reach to that much traffic flooding onto them, but Waze failed…

  15. Add address numbers when arrived

    Need to add address (number and street) when on final street instead of saying "you have arrived at your destination". Uber and Lyft drivers use waze and need to know address. We look at mail boxes as we drive down the street. Sometimes the x is not in the same location as the address but we can't see the address.

  16. PRICE MATCHING

    Gas apps could provide the consumer with a way to start making gas stations compete with each other on pricing much like grocery stores, etc. I believe most retailers offer price matching and or acceptance of competitor coupons so maybe having these apps can start forcing gas stations to become a little bit more competitive within their communities. For the consumer that penny or two difference ultimately doesn't really make a huge difference to us but maybe also by doing this we can start teaching them to be less greedy because that penny across the thousands of people pumping gas…

    Waze must be written in correct langage ... so I purpose :

    Please replace "Updated 1 days ago" by "Updated yesterday" ... in all langages because "1 days" is not correct .. in french "1 jours" is not correct !!!

  20. Follow friend.

    Sometimes share one trip more cars (users). For example Business trip or holiday etc. it means two or more cars with the same destination. One of them knows WHERE to go (where is destination) and the others follow him. One car is the leader. In this case could be very useful to add feature called "Follow friend". In MENU where are Friends, add this feature (click on name of leading user and choose "Follow friend") and when the leading user accepts the request, he becomes as a "Moving destination" for user (users) who asked him.     Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.
