Ipad mini
I use ipad mini (1), i love waze.
But have problem now with wze. If the conect to wfi or celluar , waze does n't work, crash and exit.

Connect drivers waze to a passengers waze
Let the passenger to edit the Waze route so that the driver can get it directly from the passengers phone. This will allow the driver to keep driving and having to worry about typing in new stops
on the phone while driving. If you need to find a gas station or somewhere to eat.This will make it a lot easier during longer driving sessions.

There needs to be more granularity on audio alert volume
Someone else said “Audio alerts without voice guidance”, but that’s only half, and actually, exactly opposite of what I’d like.
If there was separate volume slider for “Voice Guidance” and “Audio Alerts”, that would cover all bases.
My situation is different than the other suggestion - When i’m on my 3 hour commute, there are SO MANY VEHICLES ON SIDE OF THE ROAD that my podcasts get interrupted every 3 miles.
But because it’s 40 miles on one freeway, 35 miles on another, 45 on a third, and 30 on a fourth, i’ve zoned out and missed my exit, because…

In the turn-by-turn list, also list the approximate TIMES
sometimes it would be nice to be able to make the call on whether to keep going, or stop for dinner etc.
if the turn by turn would say "10 miles I-5 (10 min)”, you might choose differently if it said “10 miles, I-5 (55 min)”
as the driver, you could make judgement calls if a specific chunk is really bad, WITHOUT having to navigate the map to look for hazards

Excessive speed disabling!
Love the product unfortunately it's misused constantly people speeding through residential neighborhoods disable the signal upon excessive speed would be my suggestion restoring it upon compliance 10% / 20% / what's excessive another question to be answered!

Add a mood for slow moving vehicles ex..moving couch or cake onboard or sightseers etc
Slow moving vehicles should be able to self designate with a special mood to warn other users. Ex my ‘snail’ drives slow when I have a ‘cake on board’ or I am moving my ‘couch’ furniture or sightseeing like a ‘tourist’ on a road trip or am lost like a ‘broken arrow’ and can’t find my way ‘?’ Or because my ‘bad WiFi’ is breaking up and waze keeps disconnecting. In These instances a Wazer Needs and should be able to select it’s own special moods. This would help other Wazers greatly.

IMPORTANT
I have a very important upgrade Waze could include in their GPS that would save time for fellow drivers. There is nothing like it out there right now but I would like Waze to sign something before my idea is announced so that it is not taken.

Waze should connect with government fuel watch programs (where available)
Some governments - such as the NSW state government in Australia - make petrol stations list their fuel price online: https://fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au/app
Waze should integrate with these sites to have LIVE fuel prices where available (without having to rely on users).

In states that use IPASS & similar toll systems, modify Waze to indicate that cash lanes or toll pass lanes are an option
The app currently routes us to the cash lanes - it doesn't take into account that IPASS lanes (& similar state toll lanes) are an option; please change

Create user profiles
I wish Waze, like Netflix and so many other must-have apps, let you create user profiles.
That way, to give just one example, you wouldn’t have to change the HOV setting each time you use a Tesla to “electric” (which allows you to use certain HOV lanes).

Find my home in Northern California correctly. I just installed your app because I travel allot. Much to my surprise, your app cannot find
My idea is for more accurate maps in Northern California. I would need to wander through the woods to get to my starting point per your map. And I live within city limits!

Add navigation options to the main screen, rather than hidden in the Settings
Add navigation options to the main screen, rather than hidden in the Settings.
I frequently need to check arrival times for navigation where I want to take the motorway or avoid the motorway - but the only way to change navigation options is in Settings, which is a) hard to get into when driving (trying to drive and use my phone at the same time is dangerous and/or illegal), and b) impossible to get into via Android Auto on my car's in-built display.

Nombre de la calle por la que se transita
Sería muy útil que en la barra inferior del mapa de navegación, en lugar de que aparezca el mensaje de "buenos dias", "buenas tardes", etc. que eso es obvio para quien lo usa, mejor que aparezca el nombre de la calle por la que transitas, pues el puntero lo oculta o de plano no se ve. Esto ayuda a saber que va por la calle correcta.

Serious mapping issue on NY Rt 17 problem
Waze appears to only recognize NY Route 17 and part of CT Route 84 westbound. On the afternoon of August 3rd and on a prior trip 6 weeks ago, I drove to Ithaca NY from Orange, CT - a 4 hour drive. On the way to Ithaca, Waze gave me the fastest, most direct route, which included NY Route 17 and CT Route 84, but on the return trip, Waze suggested taking me WAY northbound, so 70 miles out of my way, adding 1 hour to my drive, but On the first trip in late June, I assumed that there…

Add an emergency broadcast system for active shooter nearby
My kids go to a TX university where they have a fairly robust emergency broadcast system for students who opt into the service. They are texted when 'authorities' (there are validation cycles/sources) have determined an emergency situation is in process notifying students of an active situation (either active shooter or lockdown for violent person escape/at large).
I know Waze does have some features with other traffic or EMS emergency notification features, but I think there might be a valid case to use the Government and Public Safety alert systems for people who are within a mile of an active shooter…

Enable the ‘Reports Ahead’ window to update continuously to show the km/miles to the hazard.
Currently, if you go into the ‘reports ahead’ section it will show you the km to the hazard, but if you leave this window open it doesn’t update the km, you have to exit and go back in again to refresh the distance. Can you please provide auto update of distance on this screen. Thank you.
