    I'd like to see permanent or semi-permanent notifications for known speed traps. I'd also like to post about said traps so others don't get caught but can't figure out how to drop a notification remotely

  3. Community-generated driving route recommendations

    Is it possible for Waze (though, this definitely needs approval and careful study) to include a feature for the drivers to suggest or make possible route recommendations? Anyway, Waze is community-generated. Google search results are often inaccurate, based on the reports that we have been receiving.

    As the driver, always (or often or most of the time) know the possible route or driving direction. And possibly with this, other wazers will be able to contribute to the route. A wazer may suggest a possible route for others to follow.

    Nothing to do with your friends friday night?
    Game mode on wazer will change video games in real life.
    Ideas are there, the base of the game is there, we just need to create it.

  8. lock screen orientation

    My screen is constantly flipping and tumbling while I'm on the move, making the visual map virtually useless. A simple option to lock orientation in the app would solve this.

    When driving from New York to Los Angeles, you have no idea what the radio stations are along the way, an option to tell you where the classic rock or news talk stations are in Kansas or anywhere along the way would be extremely helpful.

    add a category whichwould allow users to identify if there are slow moving vehicles such as semi trucks Amish buggies or farm vehicles on route

  14. Warn when there are railroad level crossings, introducing a special alert for those without barriers

    I'd like if there is an option to enable alerts for railroad level crossings, with a special option for those without barriers.
    Of course should be updated map editing too, to allow to insert these kind of crossings.

    Gostaria de um app que possibilitasse prever quando um ônibus vai passar por determinado ponto. As pessoas poderiam participar dizendo se aquela linha está cheia, se o ônibus está atrasado ou quebrou.

  18. Add Victoria, Australia Data APIs

    The Victorian Government In Australia offers a number of Data API's that would be highly useful to have integrated into the Waze App
    https://www.data.vic.gov.au/ which would allow an added depth of information to be added to the map, such as current road speed limit vs actual.
    routing around known road events, such as road works or road closures etc...

    Specifically things like:
    "Road Works and Events Points Snapshot"

    "Speed Sign Data"
    https://www.data.vic.gov.au/data/dataset/speed-sign-data

  19. When searching a company along your route

    when searching a company along your route, WAZE should show these findings along your route. There is yet an app to do this successfully. When your search just "gas" or "fast food" it does an amazing job but when you search "McDonald's" or "Carl's Jr" it only shows locations scattered around you not along your route. This could be very helpful for family trips to plan out stops or if in route to be able to quickly see if you need to stop right there or if there is a location worth waiting for maybe 10 miles down the freeway…

  20. Favorites should list locations by how close you are to them.

    Hi my name is Emri I really like using waze on the road daily it makes my work really easy BUT the only reason I keep my old GPS around is so I can look into my favorites and see how far I am from where I am to different locations I need to visit so I know where to go 1st.
    So I'm saying it would be great to see my favorite list show me that
    X is 0.5 miles away
    Y is 1.0 miles away
    Z is 1.5 miles away
    Instead of the order I added the favorite…
