please stop ruining my life
i beg for the life of me and my neighborhood for WAZE to stop posting baxter st on their map as a faster route to the freeway/other. It causes such a traffic and danger to peoples lives. people in this community know how to navigate and drive through these hills because we live here and it is our life, but when WAZE advertises it as a quick solution, we experience traffic volumes for the first time ever, and we experience danger from incompetent and dangerous drivers, who break the law and create traffic. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU WAZE, STOP…

time to leave airport
Currently when an e-mail reservation is received on my iphone/ipad in gmail, i don't know if it is gmail or waze that detects it and creates a calendar entry for the flights.
Waze incorrectly determines that the flight departure time is the time I need to be at the airport when in reality Waze needs to detect that it is a flight departure and that i need to actually be at the airport 1.5-2 hours before departure and thus the time to leave needs to be adjusted accordingly.

avoid bus routes
I'd like to be able to route to avoid getting stuck behind a bus.
Waze could:
1. avoid roads that are bus routes during heavy traffic hours
2. "detect" when a wazer is probably stuck behind a bus -- prompt for "stuck behind a bus? reroute?"

Use Waze information to Control Traffic Lights
Since I'm a long time user of Waze and Google Maps, I was wondering if Alphabet Inc. has considered designing a smart system that would use the data transmitted by Waze clients to program traffic lights.
From the research I've done, the actual smart systems in advanced cities are based on sensors and cameras placed at the intersections which makes this solution very expensive and thus not attractive to third world country cities. There's even a proposal using RFIDs in vehicles.
I am sure that city governments would promote vigorously the use of these apps and embrace a solution that…

Move the Closure icon
The Closure button/icon is effectively hidden with the current UI design. Could it be switched with the Chat button/icon? I've never wanted to "chat" while driving, but have wanted to report closures several times.

Directions alert
The “audio alert” given by the program proves to be very punctual when travelling in town or small villages, as the alerts are given with sufficient anticipation.
Instead I believe the alerting system become less effective on highways or expressways, where the speed of the vehicle is much higher and the driver’s reaction to further maneuvers is evidently reduced. There is in fact no “preliminary” alert of the subsequent step to be taken, such as “You exit will be at 1000 meters”; this preliminary alert would give, in my opinion, a sort of range of the “distance” for the future…7 votes -

boutons pour confirmer un danger
Pour confirmer la présence d'un danger, ou pour dire qu'il n'y est plus, les deux boutons sont petits et proche l'un de l'autre. En conduisant, c'est pas toujours évident d'appuyer sur le bon.
L'idéal sera de séparer l'écran en deux à ce moment. En appuyant n'importe où à droite on confirmerai la présence d'un danger et en appuyant n'importe où à gauche on dirai qu'il n'est plus présent... on gagnerai en rapidité et surtout en sécurité.4 votes -
Incident/slowdown on map view when selecting route
About a year ago, when using the map view to select a route on the Android app, you were able to see traffic slowdowns. This was super helpful when trying to decide which route to use. Currently, when you view the list, it shows traffic speeds by color and incidents/hazards/police, but there is no way to know exactly where the accident or slowdown is located. If you look at the map view, the proposed route is all one color, and doesn't show slowdowns or incidents.

Change the way some directions are explained in Dutch
It is confusing when the voice says on a highway: 'Rechts aanhouden' while meaning to TURN right. 'Rechts aanhouden' or 'links aanhouden' means: go straight ahead but stay on the (right or left) side you are on (without turning in a street almost 90°).
