Voice waveform DESPERATELY needs to by modified
The voice starts out like a gunshot. Look at your waveform. It shouldn't start with a spike, but I gaurantee it does. It can be shocking. All quiet and then "In one mile, turn left" But it goes from silence to WAAAAY TOOO LOUD way too fast. It is an assault on the ear drum. By modulating the waveform ever so slightly, you could remedy this, but it's been like that as long as I have used Waze. There needs to be a few hundredth of a second of sound buildup so you don't give the driver a heart attack.…

Get german gas prices from the "Markttransparenzzentrale"
In Germany gas stations are required to instantly upload changed prices to an authority called Markttransparenzzentrale, which provides an API for apps to get them and show the user current prices. It would be great if Waze could use this information instead of the almost always heavily outdated and useless user reports.

Add a 'record my route' button, you can then forward your ideal route to another wazer
We all have our preferred routes, (example) it is so nice to give away your country adventure route to a friend and share the best views, rides and sceneries to the perfect holiday location. Just press the 'record' button and afterwards 'save route' and 'share route'.

Differentiate "dirt road" of "4x4 trail".
"Dirt road / 4x4 trail" should be called "4x4 trail" only, and keep the same navigation capabilities as now, only to be allocated as such the badly damaged roads that only 4x4 vehicles are able to travel it.
In the "street category" should be added a new type of segment called "dirt road", which would be passable streets for any vehicle but their ability to circulate them may vary due to various external factors such as weather. Because of this, they should suffer some level of penalty in the routing, and allows the "avoid dirt roads" in the application for…55 votes -

consolidate similar suggestions
Browsing the active suggestions I see a number that are close or duplicates and a few that comments have better ideas than the original post. It would make seance to combine the duplicates, remove the ones no longer needed (because of a new version of Waze) and update the main topic with reliant suggestions in the comments.

When points are updated let us know when they are updated as of so we know if we have our most recent points or if they are just from last week etc....

Close app instead of sleeping mode
Wouldn't it be an idea in a future update to change the way to close waze. Now you put it in sleeping mode but it is easier to just close the app like Tomtom, Sygic and Navigon.

Sliding bar to personalize turning announcement
Turn announcement is a personal choice. With a sliding adjustment bar users can personalize the amount of time verbal announcements begin before the actual event.

please stop ruining my life
i beg for the life of me and my neighborhood for WAZE to stop posting baxter st on their map as a faster route to the freeway/other. It causes such a traffic and danger to peoples lives. people in this community know how to navigate and drive through these hills because we live here and it is our life, but when WAZE advertises it as a quick solution, we experience traffic volumes for the first time ever, and we experience danger from incompetent and dangerous drivers, who break the law and create traffic. time to leave airport
Currently when an e-mail reservation is received on my iphone/ipad in gmail, i don't know if it is gmail or waze that detects it and creates a calendar entry for the flights.
Waze incorrectly determines that the flight departure time is the time I need to be at the airport when in reality Waze needs to detect that it is a flight departure and that i need to actually be at the airport 1.5-2 hours before departure and thus the time to leave needs to be adjusted accordingly.
