Add authorized Vehicles only entrances on highways to map
When driving on a highway where the two directions have land in between them and often there are many trees in that area, it would be good Sea on the map where the entrances are for authorized Vehicles only that go from one side of the highway to the other side of the highway. This is often where maintenance Vehicles Park and also law enforcement vehicles. It is often hard to see if there are any vehicles parked there until you actually pass the area especially if there are a lot of trees there.

Alerts the driver when the vehicle starts to deviate from its lane with a warning to prevent accidents caused by running off from the road.

Actually, I don't have a real idea, I just want to give you guys a feedback. I'm a long time heavy user of Waze (3 to 4 hours daily), however It think that I'll have to stop using the app. Your last version was not developed for Android. List search results by shortest time to arrive, not distance or location
right now if i search for a chain store (like starbucks) I get a list of locations. what i really need to know is which location will take me the least time to reach.

Seperation of the green and red selection boxes by puttone one in each corner of the screen
Separate the "Green and Red" balloon check boxes to confirm or deny an event by putting them in opposite sides of the screen instead of right next to each other so I quit fat fingering the wrong one.

Show current direction and the next direction similar to google maps
I love using waze but one thing that always annoys me, especially when in areas I am not familiar with, is not knowing what the next direction is until I've completed the first.
For example, when exiting a highway there is no indication of if you should be turning left or right at the on-ramp until you have gotten close to the end of the ramp. I would find it really helpful if in scenarios like this the directions read "take exit ramp on right and then get in far left lane to take a left" or something similar to…9 votes -
update alerts for other side of road
I would like to be able to update alerts on either side of the road as no longer there, not just the side of the road I'm traveling on. Just like how Waze currently asks if a hazard is still there if it's in my traveling direction, it'd be nice to be able to click on a hazard or alert on the opposite side of the road and delete it if it's no longer there or relevant.

Switzerland
Hi, it would be helpul to implement a Switzerland specific option, because, there, motorways are paid by a yearly "vignette". And people driving only a few km per year on these motorways, for instance to go to Geneva airport from France, may be interested by an option "Avoid Switzerland motorways (vignette)". Indeed the already existing options "avoid motorways" and "avoid paying roads" are too drastic for a journey in other countries, too. Delete planned drive
Make it possible to delete planned drives from Waze that are automatically synced from your calendar of from Facebook. I don't need reminders on when to leave for some events.

PLEASE remove the reporting of potholes -- This is driving me insane.
Hello,
Though I do believe the initial intentions of reporting potholes were genuine, it has become an absolute nightmare for regular wazers.
I live in a metropolitan area and, unfortunately, not many people in my area have any inclination on what a pothole actually is. This has led to people spamming the map with tens of pothole reports on any given stretch of road (usually the reports are for an uneven patch of road, or even a small bump in the road)...

Stop routing traffic inappropriately
I am contacting everyone at Waze right now. Waze is causing problems.
Highway 17 from San Jose to Santa Cruz is notorious for its beach traffic. Waze directing traffic thought downtown Los Gatos and on to mountain side roads to avoid this.
STOP DOING THIS!
First of all this is causing horrendous gridlock in downtown Los Gatos. The town has put up signs telling Beach Traffic to stick to Highway 17. Drivers are ignoring this because Waze gives tells them they can cut thru Los Gatos. This is causing MASSIVE problems.

LitterGram Car Mode
LitterGram is a popular app in the UK and is quickly becoming the new way for 40m smartphone users to report litter to councils so they can clean it up. We are about to trial LitterGram car mode which will allow drivers to hit a button on their steering wheel whilst driving and map the littered roads/highways/lanes. Britain is the 3rd most littered nation globally and has a serious problem. This new feature will help clean up our highways and make driving in our country a better experience for the motorist. Increase visibility area in landscape mode.
While using waze on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3), the device is on its side. I like to see the map in landscape mode. With the new update (version 4.0.0.2 installed) any warnings and the display of the names of streets COVERS a big part of the map. I suggest to enlarge the área of the map shown in landscape mode for smartphones at least.

police
After making a report of police, I noticed in my Inbox that it was labeled as "police speed trap." I don't think the app should make that assumption. I report police presence ONLY to promote officer safety. Sometimes large trucks block drivers' view and they may not be able to see there is an officer (or other emergency responder) at the side of the road.
