Important sugestions
Hello!
I would like to give some suggestions that may be useful to users in my country (Brazil) as well as users from other countries, follow:1 Allow an editor (above a certain level) can make permanent markings or review in Map Editor to posteriore examples:
- Mark a speed bump on the road,
- Insert a new gas station on the road,
- Schedule a way as cobblestones, etc.
2 Allow new warnings like:
- Danger -> broken traffic light,
- Speed cameras -> Mobile Camera,
- Danger -> unenlightened Street,
- Danger -> flooding or subject to flooding,
- Danger -> Theft etc.

Preinstalling Waze on Android
In Switzerland, Waze isn't really common and kinda unknown. I have no idea why, since around Switzerland (French, Italy, Germany, etc.) it's way more used.
So I thought that preinstalling it on Android devices (like google maps) could be a great idea in order to attract more users to the app.1 vote -

באג: השתקת רדיו בזמן התרעה למרות שהקול מכובה
היי,
אני משתמש בוייז ברכב שלי (הוא מותקן אינטגרלית ברכב, מערכת ההפעלה אנדרואיד).
צלילי ההתרעות מכובים.
יחד עם זאת, כאשר יש הודעה או התרעה כלשהי (רכב בצד הדרך, משטרה, מצלמה וכו'), יש הנמכה אוטומטית של צליל הרדיו שמתנגן כאילו ההתרעה מושמעת באופן קולי (היא לא מושמעת).
זה מטריד מאוד ופוגע בחווית ההאזנה לרדיו.
צריך לשנות את זה כך שאם צלילי ההתרעות מכובים - הדבר לא ישפיע על השמעת הרדיו ברכב.1 vote -

Pourquoi ne pas avoir d'info URGENCE par waze lors d'une catastrophe comme nous avons connu hier pour la chute du pont de Gêne ? nous étions perdus....

New area building does not be shown in Waze in UK
The Fford Williamson street is new one in Cardiff, UK. This area is new, when you type it on the app, you got nothing, but It has many buildings and flats and courts. It must be fixed as soon as possible

Find my bus
I spend too much time waiting for a bus. I would love to know where it is. While I am on a bus I would click on the "on bus" button and I would type in my bus number. Now other users could know exactly where my bus is.

Add "Brewery", "Winery" and "Tap Room" as a category for a Place Point.

Weight station status
You should add an icon like the radar one for the weight station status open or closed A lot of truck drivers use Weezer and it may be useful for us.

Bug: iOS - waze never sticks to itinerary B or C. It always reroute to A
Ex: choose route B or C in order to get to destination. As soon as you start driving wase reroutes you to option A which you intentionally discarded

Be able to add friends, send messages and report (accidents, police, etc.) from the computer version
My husband is a truck driver. The weather is bad and we are both on Waze. I can't follow him unless I'm on my lap top. I can see other Waze users around him. Somebody sent a message to him asking how the roads were if they were clear, etc. He obviously cannot type or send a message. It would be GREAT if I could click to add the user that asked him a question or just send a message to her answering her question. AND he just witness a wreck. Type of Route Options Preference settings
I frequently drive a route that gives me the option of taking a toll road or driving on the non-toll route or taking streets - but when I look at the routes available to me, I am not able to compare the time savings of taking the toll road vs the non toll version of the road. I am only able to see toll road, or a street option, or an alternate freeway option. I would really like to be able to see the difference in commute time if I jump in the HOT lane vs not paying toll and…

Map zoom annoying
OK. I love Waze, but certain things can be quite annoying.
I wanted to find an alternate route and had a few problems.
First, when I went to select an alternate route, Waze didn't give me enough info to be able to select the route I wanted. It just gave me the initial roads, but not cities that I normally would use to select a route waypoint.
The map showed cities that I was not very familiar with. (e.g. Washington DC to Allentown, PA did not show York, Lancaster or places I could identify)
And most annoying, I had auto-zoom…
