    Waze har så mye større potensialet enn å være en byddy ride. 500 mill turer i europa hverdag vi i Smartpointvending Ltd har visjonen etter 15 år i denne næringen om endre taxi næringen grunnlegende og hvor både taxieier/sjåfør jobber mindre men tjener mer , kundene vil få en billigere tur og i størregrad kan påvirke pris da mange turer vil bli forhandlet om i mellom flere biler så her er det muligheter for meget gunstige priser , taxisentraler tjener pr tur og kan ha fokus på anbud , kontroll på biler m/sjåfører , mindre staff på callsentert og ikke…

  6. Add a brightness control to compensate in app for night driving and sunny days

    At night I find my phone screen is to bright to have running, I alter this using the brightness in phone settings but this is a long winded excessive, would be better to have an in app slider or on screen button to control brightness or a 3 finger drag say up and down the screen would be amazing. This would work in the opposite during sunny days when a greater backlight is required.

  8. since routes are not as short as possible, but influenced by nearby businesses who pay for it:

    it's time for a real neutral paid-for version of waze. I was very annoyed to figure out I'm lead to drive by businesses with ads instead of getting the shortest route. you should have been open and honest about it waze people...

  9. Include on-route traffic flow and incidents to "Your trip" screen and traffic delay to ETA.

    Upon click on the ETA box on the bottom a "Your trip" screen pops up and shows route details. Please include traffic flow and incidents that lay on the route ahead (just like one can see it when the 3 alternative routes are presented. Also it would be great to show the traffic delay on the current route next to the ETA on the main map.

  10. Have waze alert the driver of area's where speeding fines are higher than normal such as highway safety cooridors.

    Waze would be super helpful to alert you both by voice and on the screen when a driver is in a area with higher than normal speeding fines such as highway safety corridor which are permanent and dont change. Other related use would be road construction that is temorary but fines are posted higher until construction is complete.

  11. Calculate ETA based on own average speed

    ETA calculation seems to be based on traffic conditions and general average speed. ETA calculation seems to be inaccurate when driving below the average speed of the road-segment as it keeps increasing while driving with constant (low) speed.

    It would be great if ETA calculation would also be accurate for vehicles going below average speeds (e.g. trucks in europe etc.)

  13. Option to close waze without confirming or double tapping screen

    I use waze on every drive, due to this my phone is always logged in when driving (use a pin to access). While sitting in traffic one evening 2 robbers forced my window down, unlocked my car, opened the door and grabbed my phone. I would appreciate if an option could be added to close waze without confirming or by double tapping the screen in order for a phone to lock itself asap so that it can't be used or accessed. This would be much easier to do in a state of panic than to press the power/lock button on…

  14. Level of guidance option

    I would like a new low setting for "level of guidance" under sound settings. I wish I could set it to a two stage tone notifications. Such as one ding x amount of feet before the turn and then a double ding immediately before the turn.

    I find that the verbal instructions can be more than necessary in more familiar areas.

  15. Contact Waze application

    I want to link the navigation guide information of Waze application in 3rd Party application.
    Is it possible?

    If you print the log on your Android smartphone, it will be possible to output the code
    information.

    If you have API documentation and libraries, sample sources, etc., we will ask you to share.

    It would be better if it could be possible to simulate driving in Waze or Korean voice support.

  17. Show potential variance in route time

    It seems that Waze picks the best route at the time navigation starts.

    With all the timing and route information that Waze and Google collects, it should be easy to calculate a good variance for the time of day.

    It might be nice if Waze could display a midspread or "middle 50%" time, i.e. the time estimate for 50% of all drivers on that route at that time of day.

    So maybe below the estimated arrival of "9:02", it would show "(9:00 - 9:15)"

    It'd be even better if it took this into consideration when routing, like preferring a "9:03…

  19. taxiway

    Currently you identify a runway and taxiway as being identical. There are not. Runways cannot be driven on (typically) but can have street names as well runway identifiers. Taxiways can be driven on with some airports especially airport communities. And they also have street names. You need to separate runways and taxiways into 2 separate types of road or street.

  20. Use a friends live gps signal as destination

    You can Share you Destination with a Friend if you connect by Facebook.

    But what if you want to see where he stopped, like a gas station or something. or he decides to drive somewhere different.

    It would be nice to choose your friend as a destination so when the friends phone updates its location that is the new destination for yourself. This idea needs refining i guess. But basically so you can follow your friend if you drive together, to not lose the other one! or the group!
