  2. night icon

    The car icons are not very visible both on the day and the night maps. It would be helpfull if I would be able to select two icons: for day/night maps
    Another work around would be a white silhouette around the icon, so that a blue icon will be more visible over a a blue route, and a red one will be visible on a traffixc jam.
    A Zebra icon (like a British police car) can also be visible - yet less populare...

    There is available an access to 20 sites (further - more), would like to put on them referal the reference for downloading Waze.
    Question: whether it is possible to make that for everyone invited in Waze bonuses were added?

  4. Delayed reports

    While you're driving, you haven't time to report. So it would be great if I can touch the screen to hold the real place where a report have to be placed. So you can complete the report when you stop.

    Create a WordPress widget/plug-in so people can visit our Website for real-time traffic info! A great way to enlarge the Waze footprint and make more people aware of the app!

  7. get voice reports working. My phone (Samsung Not 4) can't hear my voice when trying to make a report

    Waze recognize/hear voice reports.

  8. Store reports created offline for short period. I.E. Police reports and accidents, see comments

    I travel a lot in weak cell service areas on major interstates. I will see an accident or Police situation when I have GPS but not network it says sorry you can't report do it later. However it might be 5 or 10 miles down the road before I can then the event isn't in the right location. Suggest storing the location information along with the time so that when network returns it can be posted.

  9. Automatically start/stop reporting on bluetooth connect/disconnect

    Please consider a settings option to report traffic only if exact bluetooth device (my car HF) is connected. This could be very useful feature to avoid false traffic reports.

    Settings:
    - Turn feature ON / OFF
    - Choose BT device

    Behaviour:
    - When exact bluetooth device is connected, wait until some ratelimit speed is reached (i.e. 30 kmh) and start reporting.
    - When bluetooth device is disconnected, automatically stop traffic reporting.

  10. Automatic switch between sleep and unsleep mode

    It would be great (for saving autonomy) having a mode which turn the device screen into sleep mode (if Waze is active on the screen) and come back into active mode before some interesting action, such as a junction, an off ramp to drive, or eating roadgoodie. In the best case, the time the screen become active again would be dependant of speed.

  11. Feature of non-static Speedcams without approval from AM

    There are two things that can be reported - Police and Speedcams. Police shows up immediately, but speedcams (according to the footnote) must be approved and a user will be warned about that only if driving with excessive speed. However there are non-static speedcams too. Most users are repoting them as a police trap, but this is actually a speedcam, and it is changing its location over time. Notifying user when driving with excessive speed is ok, but I think that notifyication about non-static speedcams should be in any case, for example if there is an error in a map…

  12. Larger Comment Box for Android

    Its hard to backtrack or proofread the previous lines that have been typed when you can only practically see one line. Would be better if its like FB messenger where 3 whole lines can be seen at the same time.

  14. Speedcam reporting in Client.

    Please add possibillity to set speed limit of road when reporting speed cameras. This will make it 10 times easier to get quality data. Perhaps even when reporting the speed cam, an quick enter speed limit dialogue with the road signs of the country. Something that could be downloaded with the voice files perhaps?

    An announcement that indicates when you're halfway to your destination would be best. Could also extend and say 3/4 of the way there or just almost there! Type announcement.

  16. Allow other users to send address to my handheld client

    Allow facebook friends, waze group members, etc. to send an address to my handheld client if I am online.
    1) When an address is recieved by the client, ask the user to accept the route, reject the route or block all address pings.
    2) If I don't have a route set, auto accept the aaddress after 10 seconds.
    3) Add a new category to the Address Search dialog similar to My Favorites, Recent searches, Contacts, etc. List the received addresses for easy access.

    I can see the speed and some more info in the waze full screen, but i often need to see the current time. I have to switch out of waze.

  18. Show city name over center of town, not over general area.

    I often find that a town name is not actually displaying in the direction of the town, but in the direction of town tiles closest to me, which may not be where the town is at all.
    My suggestion would place town labels in the direction of the center of town.
