    It would be interesting to check when you start the application, if a new version. On Blackberry devices, could have a link to download OTA or AppWorld

  2. Let users customize auto tweets such as "Acabo de reportar una redada policial, ..."

    Traffic enforcement corps are different from country to country so it might be a good idea to let users tweak their auto tweets a little. They might have the application configured in a language but tweet in another, etc.

  5. use Android API for event buttons and text input

    to report traffic/event irrelevancy it is darn hard to hit that tiny round button with a caret (>) at the end of the event item. instead I should be able to use a long press on a much broader list item to pop up the menu. also, the menu that pops up ought to be from the API. it would create bigger buttons (better for touch sensitive devices) and makes for a much more consistent device use experience plus it would make it more accessible while driving. More accessible means less accidents.

    Add a function to take geotagged photo's and show them on the map. This way you can take a picture of a street sign, and later enter the street name in cartouche without having to look it up on another map

  7. Notifications in Android Notification bar when Waze is in the background

    I would like to see an icon popup next to the Waze icon in the Android Notification bar when people send a Ping, comment to your chat, or when an event like police or accidents have been reported. This would be useful when Waze is in the background.

  8. Send a text message when delayed and/or shortly before arriving

    Waze can send twitter-messages, but with the new APIs in iOS4 it could send textmessages (SMS) as well. When entering a destination for routing, one could also select a mobile phonenumber (of the person we are driving to) so that significant delays are reported automatically to this person. Also, waze could send a SMS some minutes before arriving at the destination. This comes really handy when you want to pick someone up!

    When I say "automatically" - I mean that Waze pops up a dialog that you only have to confirm.

  10. Use special tiles for not downloaded areas

    Let the waze client use a special tile for not downloaded areas. When on a slow connection you sometimes realise there's no road where you are, so you enable construction mode just to realise a minute later that the roads in the area just weren't finished downloading to your phone yet.

    Meu nome é Anne, falo em noma da empresa Rodonaves, estamos com dificuldade para poder realizar edições em nossas filiais que trocaram de endereço, ou foram cadastrada com o nome errado por outras usuarios, teria alguma possibilidade de cadastrar todas as nossas unidades corretamente e realizar a edição de endereço de todas que estão erradas? Estamos kcom dificuldade de entrar em contato com vocês pela opção "feedback"

    My suggestion is for the following feature:
    Enable Catalan for speed camera alerts
    My suggestion solves this problem:
    Fix the issue where, when the app is set to Catalan, the TTS alerts are heard in other languages.
    In more words:
    When you have a language set in your app, you expect all features to be in your selected language

    Wäre es nicht besser, außerhalb von Ortschaften, anstatt einen Straßennamen anzusagen, den Ort der auf dem Schild steht, in die Richtung in die man abbiegen soll, anzusagen/anzuzeigen? Zum Beispiel... Biegen sie links ab in Richtung Berlin. Anstatt biegen sie links ab, auf Straße XY. Zumal der Straßenname außerorts eh fast nie dran steht.
    Ich finde das viel sinnvoller.

    חשבתי שאפשר רעיון שיכול לשפר את הוויז! שאפשר לרשום את הכתובת שאתם נמצאים בה כרגע ואת הכתובת יעד שלכם עם מסלול כמובן וגם דיבור בשפה הרצויה שלכם… וככה זה יכול לפתור לכולנו את הבעיית וויז ומפות והכל!!! מי בעד הרעיון הזה???

    Por um valor simbólico (acessível), taxa única e fixa, e após adquirir, o período de disponibilidade não expira mais.

  19. entering problems on the road backwards

    Good day.
    It has happened to me several times, and I believe I will not be the only one, that I drove past a place on the road where there was a traffic accident or obstacle and I wanted to enter it into Waze navigation, but it cannot be done backwards.     הייי בוקר טוב.

    יש לי הצעה לוויז שתוכל לעזור לאנשים.

    תוסיפו אופציה מעקב אחר חבר ובאופציה הזאת אדם שולח למשתמש וויז אחר התרעה "משתמש ...... רוצה לעקוב אחרי נסיעתך"

    אם המשתמש מאשר אדם אשר אושרה לו הבקשה יוכל אדם לעקוב אחרי האדם ונסיעתו.

    איך זה יעזור לאנשים??
    לדוגמא 10 אנשים נוסעים ב2/3 רכבים אחרי רכב אחד אז שני הרכבים בלי הוויז יעשו מעקב אחר הרכב הראשון ואז יראו לאן הוא נוסע ואיפה הוא עוצר ולא כל אחד יסע בדרך שונה.

    מה אתם תשיגו??
    עוד משתמשים באפליקציה.

    הערות: יש להוסיף אופציית זמן לדוגמא מעקב לשעה או 3 שעות וכו.
