  1. Geotagged event triggers

    Allow the user to define an event such as playing one of your own sounds, display one of your own photos or play a music track at or near specific places. Example uses - get onto a fast stretch of road and your music changes, and changes back when you get into town again. Get a mile from a toll booth and a note appears telling you how much money to have ready. Drive near a grocer and your recording says "don't forget to get the eggs".   2. To have a approximated distance for traffic

    i was just thinking it would be nice to either have an audible voice or something pop up with an approximate distance when your in traffic. Cause I know when I come up on it the 1st thing I'm doing is thumbing up the screen to see how far.

  4. Status restore after reinstall

    I did had to reinstall waze app on my samsung captivate. realized that my status was reset to baby once again. The problem is that after the 80km driven it still doesn't forward to regular status (after baby)

  6. Set location of a "Report" for where you press the Icon that displays the reports instead of setting it where you are when you select send

    I like to participate in Waze to help others as they've helped me, but often don't see things to report until I'm already on top of it. (i.e. speed trap, hazard, etc.) I've found that the location based on my selection is placed far further on the map from the actual occurrence by time I select the remaining options and hit "Send". As the last thing I want to be doing while traffic is maneuvering and breaking is seeing which additional selections need to be made to make sure I select correctly, it would be nice if selecting the "Report"…

  8. More Rewards

    When will you start adding more rewards to waze. Add jewels the crown, points for gifts...etc.. I'm at that point....now what?..... i shouldn't have to ask that question.

    I had a username, but when I switched my iPhone, I could not get back in. I logged in via Facebook, and now everything is gone.

  11. Location and type of landmark in search results

    For easier identification of a landmark, it could be great, to know the settlement or road which is near it and the type of the landmark, after the name of the landmark, like this:
    Shell, Somecity/Route66 (Gas station)

  13. Problems to access GROUPS option

    BB Release 2.0.2.3 Spanish version has problems when you try to access GROUPS option I cant join any from my blackberry. My friends dont have this problem (samsung phone)

  15. report route change due to traffic

    It happens a lot that the route is taking me to a heavy traffic road. I turn to avoid it, but can't report it. It would be great to have a pop-up when avoiding the suggested route to ask if it's due to traffic

  16. Waze can put Road view into the GPS so that we could know which is the Exit in the Highway. I saw other such as Garmin and Papago did.

    Waze could put road view like example if theres 2 exits, a picture of the roads could appear With an arrow to should which road so we wont miss out.

  17. say im at a red light

    My idea is for the waze app. I was using my waze and while I was driving and I stopped at a stop light. Waze asked me if I was stuck in traffic cause it noticed that I'm not moving and it doesn't let me say ithat im stuck at a red light.

  18. Allow the use of bluetooth controls while Waze is in the foreground.

    When Waze is running in the foreground, my bluetooth controls don't work. So I have to do a whole bunch of on-screen gymnastics just to skip to the next track in my queue. This is potentially dangerous while driving. I should be able to use the button on my steering wheel. (It works fine when Waze isn't running.)

  19. camera first

    As a user option, allow me to open camera immediately upon press of REPORT button (as opposed to choosing the report type). This way the photo op won't be gone by the time I fumble through the type of report to submit. After photo is taken, I'll choose the report type, type in the details, and submit everything.

  20. Send location to others should default to user preferences. Such as always SMS

    The option now adds extra steps for users. Most users always use text so why pull up all options available to share location?
