  2. Waze warned me of traffic that was a thousand miles away

    I was sent a "warning" of potential traffic problems due to the SF Pride Parade last weekend while I was in Denver. I live in San Jose and I never drive to SF. When the warning came in, I was in Denver, Colorado, a thousand miles away. Why was this warning sent to me?

    I know we can do better than this.

  3. Make selected item more clear in iPhone app

    When selecting a report type the option selected only slightly changes in color/shade. My phone is mounted to the dash and in daylight I often cannot tell if I have selected an item. Make the shading or color change more dramatic for the selected item e.g. On Road & Construction. I have pressed the button a second time which deselects and this is also a problem

  7. Allow report on the point after the traffic jam. It will increase the accuracy of redirection.

    I experience waze selection which route sometime was wrong due to a lot of people report traffic jam but actually the jam just a short one. Example: very jam at LDP, waze still suggest use the route because too many users reported jam at NKVE but actually NKVE just a short distance jam. Thank you!

  8. 2-way road option when munching & mapping new roads

    Most roads that I've ever driven on are 2-way roads, yet waze assumes that any new road recorded or cookie munched is on a 1-way road. I'd like a client option to default them to 2-way, since I know that there are areas where 1-way roads prevail. If I happen to munch a 1-way road while in 2-way mode, I can easily correct it in cartouche later, but I'd much rather correct 3-5% of the roads (or less) than 95-97%.

  9. Routes to Home or Work after I begin navigation to a specific address

    When I use Maps on Windows Phone and start voice navigation, Waze starts up (good). But it then asks if I'm going Home or Work and replaces the destination of I don't say"no" (bad). Please don't bring up that prompt if I launched Waze from maps.

  10. Voice Instructions: Bear Right, Keep Right

    Voice navigation instructions use "Keep Right (Left) in 2 conditions making it a bit confusing: When on an undivided road approaching a divided section of the same road, and when approaching an intersection with a gradual right (left) turn. "Bear Right (Left)" would be a more appropriate instruction for the 2d situation.

  11. I would love the ability to tell Waze I do not have E-ZPass. Often, Waze will route me to a PA Turnpike entrance that is "E-ZPass Only".

  13. Camera accessibility improvement

    When you click on the type of hazard you should be able to have a picture icon on the type of hazard and press on it and he nearly go to the camera instead of the two-step process of pick the type of hazard and then have to take a picture separately.
    Four example if you click on pothole you have the option just to record the pothole or there's a camera icon next to the pothole tab and you click on the camera and it AUTOMATICALLY takes you to the camera or even better just snaps a pic right…

  14. Default text/email contact

    95% of my journeys that need someone to know when I'll arrive are me commuting from work. It would be great to have a 'speed dial' feature on the map screen to reduce the clicks to tell the missus when I'll be home.

  15. Id love to be able to select the routes by plane view like on basic gps app that comes with the iphone instead of having the street names

    Beeing able to select the different routes by plane view instead of the street names would be awesome. When i use waze its because i'm in a place i don't realy know much about. So I dont know the street names.

    Beeing able to switch from street name and plane view at selecting the routes would be awesome!!

  16. In Spanish; when on a highway or freeway, if I should exit right, Waze says "keep right" (manténgase a la derecha") instead of "exit right"

    In Spanish; when on a highway or freeway, if I should exit right, Waze says "keep right" (manténgase a la derecha") instead of "exit right" ("salga a la derecha"). This is a cause of confusions and many times I stay on the freeway missing my exit. Waze should correct the voice instructions in Spanish

  17. adding the possibility of reporting nearby

    Often I want to report something that I see a bit far from where I am by the time I turn on waze, it would be really useful to be able to report in places different from where one is (maybe adding a maximum radius to avoid scam)

    PS sending feedback from mobile is quite laborious, if you care to make it easier it would be nice

  19. Background alerting for police reports, hazards, etc, please.

    Please provide full reporting capability including voting for existing reports when running in the background using banners that pop-up to foreground and then allow the app to come to foreground, by choice.
