Stop non-local people from editing
I live in a city and it seems that anyone editing is not from the city and does not understand closures or what street signs are up. Instead I see messages from editors in the comments to people saying for pictures of signs or proof of closure. If they were local they would see the newspapers showing how their a block party, or understand where the city posts permits for road closures. Instead you see people from a neighboring state asking for proof, instead of residents being granted access to edit where they know when roads are closed or why…

Road on route exclusion
For commercial vehicles in London there are many roads we arent allowed to drive down (such as the royal parks)
It would be great for this and other issues regarding traffic and other obstructions to install a feature that allows you to exclude a certain road from your trip, Allowing Waze to reroute you avoiding that a particular road if possible.
I had a TomTom 10 years ago that allowed you to do this and I used it regularly.

Fix link in "A map issue you reported was fixed" email
If you send in a map problem you get an email back about it with advice about how to become a map editor. It includes the following line

This link is a 404.

the "share ride" url is not properly URL encoded in text messages
waze.com/ul=q=share drive ... there should be an underscore in "share_drive" or the asci code for space "share%20drive" to keep the url from breaking when shared in text messaging (observed in Google's Voice APP)

Loi couloir de secours
Bonjour,
Bien qu'il soit très intéressant d'informer led utilisateurs des changements du code de la route, le pop Up concernant le couloir de secours est erroné. La loi ne demande pas de laisser libre la voie du milieu mais de s'écarter pour laisser un passage entre deux bandes. Au milieu pour les routes à 2 voies. Entre celle de gauche et celle du milieu pour les routes à 3 voies et plus. En demandant de libérer une des trois voies, on aggrave l'embouteillage du fait des changements de file.2 votesThanks for reaching out. Skalkaho “Highway” is TREACHEROUS!
Waze needs to warn users this is NOT a safe “alternate route.” It is terrifying and unsafe with, as a bonus, zero cell coverage.

Map and routes improvement
The waze map in the middle is very busy it shows the turning whit white and you cannot see it as road names and other wazers avatar is on the map...I would suggest to pop road names towards the side of the map...and another idea is to input car make/model and you give is routes to avoid widht/height restrictions....very useful in London

Have a Female super hero car to drive
Hi! My daughters asked me why, if the Batmobile is an option, we can’t drive a Wonder Woman car as well.
My kids are 3 and 5 and their question strikes the lack of representation they can already see here.
It can be WW or someone else... but could you have a car of a female superhero as well?
Ps: we love Batman too, -not the Riddle that much-, but having female representation would give an initial great & diversed option.

Toll pass expiration date
In Europe a lot of countries have passes for toll roads. These passes expire after some days, a momth or a year. There are very few applications notifying the user that the pass has expired an most of the purchases are paper/vignette based. Waze could do this, also warn the user on the main screen and ultimately do not plan routes that requires the pass to avoid fines.

Carplay settings
It would be nice to have access to the waze settings though apple carplay so that I can turn toll roads or other features on and off quickly as opposed to having use the phone app. Google already has this but I prefer using Waze so please work on this.

Please allow editing Apps (Add & Delete) in Audio Player, I.e. “Radio Garden”
Radio Garden Live App enables people to listen to a multitude of radio stations live. App available in the App Store

Audio alerts should come on earlier. Police can see you before the app alert comes on when travelling at highway speeds.

Remove shaded area at top of Android Auto screen
Remove, or provide as option, the shaded area at top of Android Auto display. This area makes it hard to see upcoming conditions when traveling at highway speeds.

Android Auto add stop
Can we get waze to show how off route a location is to your current route on Android Auto? This feature works great on the normal app but it's missing from android auto.
