    Automatically generated emergency messaging feature.

    When the software detects a road accident (by measuring the G-forces and impacts) of one of your clients, after X minutes countdown it would send an automatically generated message with the following data:
    Name of the injured
    Age of the injured (date of birth)
    Gender
    Blood type
    Phone number
    GPS location
    etc. (all kind of informations may you need)
    And also able to add more contacts (friends, family members etc.), that means that the most important and relevant peoples of the users would be informed about the accident in just a couple of minutes.

  3. Add speed-based volume ramping

    When at highway speed Spotify/audio can be at full volume, when coming to a slowdown the audio will automatically decrease in volume.

    This can help drivers be more alert of their surroundings at intersections and when exiting highway traffic.

    The Waze app never accounts for a routine road closure on Memorial Drive in Cambridge, MA, which occurs Sundays 11am-7pm from late April to early November. This creates chaos as the app continues to try to direct users back to this route.   6. The option to lock the use of your keyboard during the trip for Safer driving; Insurance Discounts and Gas Station Points

    The option to lock your keyboard will allow you to drive without distraction and benefit with multilateral partnerships. If Waze can partner with Insurance companies or Chain gas stations the Wazer who selects the "Drive Mode" would gain points to either of the above for safe driving or gas discounts (two examples). The benefit would be to surrounding drivers and the Wazer themselves as they are earning a reward. We live in a "Points" game world and as Waze already gives you points these would be much more attractive as they will be able to be redeemable.

  7. Faster map when moving

    One thing I hate with Waze compared to google maps and directions is when you are in an area with where you have to turn onto several short roads and then turn quickly the map does not update your position quick like google does and I end up missing my turns. Satellite view would help with this.. I no longer use waze for directions. Just for the notifications along the route I am on. Also the speed does not update correctly.

  8. CarPlay update

    Waze is super useful in car over my cellphone (iPhone)
    However, once plugged into my car with CarPlay, the experience is worst that ever. In fact, the CarPlay interface of the app does not support all functions offered in the mobile version such as :
    1. Unable to signify a fixed radar photo
    2. Unable to specify the police specification (visible, hide, opposite side)
    3. Unable to launch a SOS and so on
    In fact, the types of available notices is so small.

    In addition, you can’t find a gas station easily as in the app cause you don’t have…

  9. Provide instructions and descriptions of screen icons

    No reason to use Waze with no knowledge of icons or how it works. There is nothing of value on the Waze website except how to sign up. Complete waste of time. Next!

  10. Segment Restriction Schedules that don't require a year

    Allow segments to have a restriction based on fixed dates that recur annually and don't require a year.
    There are numerous places that have recurring fixed date restrictions and it can be challenging to keep up with them.

    I don't want other wazers to find my house more easily.
    So please stop asking me to provide a photo for that purpose.

    If I have arrived at my destination AND my destination is my Home
    Then do not ask for a photo.

    A rede globo no Brasil usa muito o waze nos programas regionais. Eu sugeriria que houvesse a possibilidade de colocarmos avisos (como os de buraco na via) quando presenciássemos um assalto numa via. Ia ajudar os demais usuários nas redondezas ou que viessem a passar por lá a tomarem cuidado e até a polícia poderia usar como base para deslocar viaturas para o local. Aí o aviso poderia ficar disponível por dois ou três dias. Que acham?

  15. New Mileage Rules on the GPS

    1. If you are over 50 miles before your next turn, mileage will update every mile.
    2. If you are under 50 miles before your next turn, mileage will update every tenth of a mile.
    3. If you are under a tenth of a mile, the units will change to feet and it will start at 500 feet and update every 50 feet.
    4. If the mileage has a decimal ending in 0, the decimal will be eliminated (ex. 13.0 miles will just say 13 miles).

  16. Do I need a map

    Do I need a map

    A lot of my driving I know the route, I travel it every day and for there is no reason to change

    What I need the the speed (Big Display)- speed alerts (When over the limit) - warnings - hazards, police and radar verbally called and heavy/standstill traffic when approaching recorded warnings within the last 30 minutes.

    This would save on the map downloads and for me the use of mobile data, even though I have found this to be very small.

  18. Give warning when routing through ferries

    Hi,

    Currently Waze gives you a warning when routing through toll roads, but not when routing through ferries where the majority are also paid. It would be nice that Waze also then gives a warning when routing with ferries.

  20. Make it easier to contact you

    You keep screwing up my commute by not showing closures. Worse: there’s no way to tell you about it. Hopefully a new company develops an app to compete with you
