  1. Advertise the Waze app on billboards in high traffic areas

    I think if Waze advertised the App in particularly high traffic areas, Waze could ultimately get tons of new users and the ability to ease traffic. For example, I live in Williamsburg, Virginia and travel I-64 daily to get to work in Hampton. It's about 33 miles one way. Currently, I-64 is under construction to widen it. During the summer time frame, there are approximately, 20,000 more drivers on this busy section a day that are headed to Virginia Beach and/or the Outer Banks of North Carolina for vacation.   2. Have Waze automatically detect your speed on major roads

    I drive the same busy highway every morning (I-64) here in the Hampton Roads of Virginia. A major section of it is under construction. Instead of passengers and/or drivers taking their eyes off the road to manually enter moderate/heavy/standstill traffic, it would be nice for Waze to automatically detect it and publish it to the map since there are enough people using Waze in this area. I'm sure an algorithm can be written that can detect Wazers within a 1-5 mile radius that are traveling at a particular speed and be able to automatically display the 'traffic speed' for a…

  3. create a app settings profile for multi user environment (90 devices that needs same setting)

    To start using navigation in a large emergency (firetrucs) environment we would like to keep things easy. We are thinking about central management of a waze orginasation installation and setup centrally the waze settings instead of local on the device. In a future release we then perhaps can license it and remove adds or use it to centrall set type of default navigation, layout etc.

  4. Enlarged Road names and numbers when the map is enlarged

    I do not understand why road names and numbers do not enlarge proportionally to the map. It makes no sense whatsoever. There is a reason I am enlarging the map and it is to read the information. Please allow road signs and names to enlarge u proportion to the map size.

  9. Set voice command language equal to Waze interface language

    Currently, Waze expects voice commands in the language of the country that I am in. It disregards that the phone language. (English in my case, therefore, waze interface is also in English). I am, however, in Portugal. Therefore Waze voice commands are expected in Portuguese.

    Consider the new implementation on no roaming fees in Europe. When I drive to Spain, I am expected to speak Spanish. When I go to Croatia, I am expected to speak Croatian.

    Solve this by setting the voice language to the language of the phone (or waze). Otherwise Waze voice commands are useless.

  12. "Blind" Report Entry

    I have an idea about how to make Waze truly "blind" -- i.e. how to use it to post accurate and detailed notices without ever having to look at the device (or look away from traffic).

    The way it works right now is you tap the Report Icon and then a screen appears with a number of options. For most options there are suboptions, and then you have to send the report for it to make it visible to other Wazers. This means a minimum of FOUR times you must glance at your phone in order to report something. However,…

  13. New "Complete Trip" Screen

    I like the little pop-up screen that appears from the bottom that shows my complete trip and all the notices that are currently between me and my destination. I wish that this screen did more -- since I already know how to get where I'm going every morning, ideally I would just leave this screen on and it would give me all the info I need. But right now:

    (1) It doesn't auto-update; you have to close it and re-open it to update information

    (2) The small straight line from left to right is very short and not useful if…

    Muchas gracias por la app.
    Quisiera aportar con una mejora, agregar entre las opciones de "Peligro - en la vía - pavimento resbaladizo".
    Esta situación sucede mucho, sobre todo en zonas costeras o vías donde transita muchas locomoción colectiva; ya sea por humedad otorgada por el ambiente marino o por derrame de aceite, petróleo y otros líquidos de los vehículos. Se podrían evitar varios accidentes alertando situaciones similares.

  15. Waze maps to closest street instead of named street

    I have noticed a few times lately that Waze seems to map the directions to the closest street to the gps point of the address, which is not always the same as the street the address is on. This means, for instance, that where there are houses which are set back from the street, Waze often maps to a neighboring street instead of the correct street, because it's closer to the marker.

    I was given a message on my Waze App. saying you'll send me a code to this email. I tryed again and again, with no success!. Your support for WP 8.1 sucks!
    How can I retrieve my previous Waze account?

  18. Delete planned drive

    Make it possible to delete planned drives from Waze that are automatically synced from your calendar of from Facebook. I don't need reminders on when to leave for some events.

    I have an LG tablet. When it is vertical the speedometer is covered by the friends page link. If the speedometer could be moved to the left sided of the screen it would be more visible.

  20. Change of colour on the map as you navigate a route

    When driving a route it would be nice if the colour of the route on the map would change so you would know we're you are going and were you have been. Some times when there are a lot of turns it can become confusing
