  1. be able to track mileage weekly

    I think there should be a way to see what weekly mileage totals are. A simple forward space separating weekly / career would suffice.

  2. Emergency Mode

    In states of emergency, such as natural disasters, hurricane, floods, earthquakes. It would be nice if Waze switched to "Emergency Mode" in this mode you can mark gas stations as having gas or not with notes about long lines. Ads would be removed and replaced with the location of emergency services (Hospitals, shelters) and locations can be marked with water/canned food/ propane..

  3. I'm just curious if your algorithms take into account the lack of school traffic in the summer.

    Summer traffic is lighter. Averages over the entire year will be diluted.

    YO. can't find help on carpooling...using drastic measures here. when i go to set up carpooling, it keeps saying OOPS you've already used this number...THATS MY ONLY NUMBER. its for work personal and everything. how do i get around this?

  8. A 'University' stock favorite like 'Home & Work'

    It would be nice to be able to have another stock favorite, like Home and Work, called University.
    I know I can have it just as a favorite, but I think having a 'University' tab under 'Work' and above 'Favorites' would be convenient. It could be optional too, that way it won't bother wazers who don't go to a University.

    Defects in machines speech can often be obscured by the machine speaking in a different dialect you speak. Irish are romanticized by Americans and this will be very popular Stateside.

    Ability to provide personal safety help/alert for walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, skiers, boaters, drivers, etc. Set up Waze to track your route/activities and to alert those designated, including rescue personnel, if it does not receive the proper responses from you within the proper time.

  14. dont provide directions in areas that you don't have the need infrastructure. I will never use this app again. 4th Time on a 30min detour

    If you don't have the infrastructure to successfully navigate and provide directions to a certain geographic location; don't fucking provide directions. This is the 4th time that waze directions have sent me on a thirty minute detour. The last time sent me into a dead end. No light. Neighborhood. Ran out of gas and had to call AAA. I'm holding back the urge to have my attorney contact your company for liquidated damages and potential harm.

  15. Traffic Direction/Headings - N, E, E, SW, etc.

    It would be helpful to know (and report) what direction/heading the heavy traffic is moving (or not moving) i.e. N, E, SW, etc
    When I see heavy traffic icons, I'm not sure if it is on my route or going the other way. I think it would benefit other Wazers, if I could alert traffic conditions in the opposite lanes as well... similar to Police or Accident "on the other side."

  17. Create a Report category for "Inventory of holes in the streets and avenues."

    Make an inventory of holes in the streets and avenues. In order to:

    1) Repair them ASAP.
    2) Charge the culprit of these holes, mainly the electric and water companies that make bad repairs.

  18. Total number of vehicles and mean speed, both in real time, for every street AROUND A USER SELECTED POINT.

    I would like to get, for a project, the traffic density in real time of each street or highway. In other words, what I need is to get a number, instead of a color (currently red, green, etc) indicating me the quantity of vehicles in every street, along with the speed of each one. It is, 2 numbers: total number of vehicles and mean speed, both in real time, for every street AROUND A USER SELECTED POINT. The user would be a custom program that would determine in advance, the possible conflict at every selected intersection.

  19. When can we add flemish voices again?

    I remember that waze had besides the Dutch voices also flemish voices to help you navigate. For some reason they have been removed.

    A huge group of flemish people in Belgium would appreciate the return of a flemish voice. (the same or another)

  20. continuous speed limit alerts

    Waze currently only alerts you once if you are speeding. Suggesting an option to allow to keep alerting every X number of min or seconds.
