  1. 1/10/23 update plan a drive

    The new update doesn't allow you to EASILY, plan a drive or change and arrival time. This is a part of the app I use ALL THE TIME! Well, I used to use it =(. This does NOT make things easier at all! Quite honestly, I want it back. Why do updates ruin all the good things about an app?

  2. Frequently used alerts

    I use 2 alerts most frequently, car on shoulder and police. I assume other have their frequents. To enter these takes several clicks on the screen, increasing the risk to users. Also, your competitors now have these features, requiring multiple clicks like Waze. Consider making Waze more user friendly by changing the app so when the user presses the button to go to alerts, it shows 3 buttons. Two frequently used buttons and one for other. For, me it would have car on shoulder, police, and other. Other will allow the user to click through other alerts like they do…

  3. One touch icon for police (or custom)

    Have a dedicated icon that is on the map screen
    One touch icon to report police (or custom)
    Having to scroll to multiple pages is unsafe and may be unlawful in some instances

  4. Beginning of town (inhabited place) indication - for when to let off the gas in advance

    Indicate the next beginning of town somehow on the route.
    On the map and/or with info saying "beginning of town in 500m ... 400m ... 200m" etc.
    Or even just one popup saying "town in 300m".
    Or just with a marker on the map! That would also suffice.

    I have wanted this feature for years.
    Very hard to estimate when in an unknown area.
    For those of us mindful about eco driving, there is no point in pressing the gas pedal up until the sign and then braking suddenly from 90km/h to 50km/h.

  5. 5-digit Gas Prices

    Colombian gas prices are 5 digits long. Waze only allows to enter 4 digits. Please fix that functionality

    precisamos de uma versão para ser usado para caminhão, pois existem trajetos que não se pode entrar caminhão e não tem um gps que mostre essas limitações de trafego.

  7. Outside temperature on screen through the vehicle systems rather than the gathered external weather data.

    Vehicles gather outside temperatures as part of the computer systems and display it on on the infotainment screens. I would like this temperature displayed rather than that gathered from the weather data. It would be more accurate and use less data.

  9. More organization by grouping locations together

    My waze is sprawling with locations that I find it hard to find things fast.
    We need a way to organize the locations.
    Like the existing Home. Home has its own clear folder and not jumbled up among all sorts of locations.

    I would like to suggest other folders like "City" or "Beaches" or "Cinemas". I can place all my shops and locations that I frequent to inside it.

    At the moment I have to look through a whole list to find it. Horrible!

  10. Show "Low Emissions Zone / CAZ" in Routes list

    The current Routes list view shows Tolls in a label. That's great.
    Just do the same with "low emissions zone" and/or "Clean Air Zone".

  12. Change starting point on trip planner

    So in the trip planner, add the ability to change my starting location. Example: I'm at home and preparing for a trip to an event after work. I want to be able to enter in the locate of my work and then the location to the event. I should be able to see how long it will take from work to the event, how many miles, routes to take and have the same option that currently exists to determine a start time if you want to arrive at the other location by a certain time.   13. Allow users to turn off points animation and sound

    The points animation feature and sound often blocks the map displayed temporarily in the bottom right corner. During the animation users can’t input another quick report until the animation finishes. User should be allowed the ability to turn off points animation, and the associated sound effect.

  15. Please fix Waze CarPlay lag

    CarPlay lags almost a full minute upon input. Your position in the map is also delayed. So turn by turn directions will be missed. Waze CarPlay is almost unusable.

  16. Following the update of my Apple phone 12 Pr Max to IOS 16, currently 16.1 there is considerable battery drain and overheating of the phone

    Eversince I updated my iphone 12 pro max to IOS is whenever I use Apple Carplay and especially WAZE the phone overheats significantly in a very short timespan and also the battery drops dramatically in no time.
    Is Waze aware of this problem ? Are they doing something to fix it.
    The same issue does not occur when I use other navigation software’s in Apple Carplay.

    Please fix it as I can not continue using Waze with such dramatic battery use and overheating of the phone!

  17. Voice options for each phrase

    Voice options is a nice feature. But to make it really great it must stop being boring and embarrasing by repeating same phrases every time (especially on fun voices, like Terminator or Zombie).
    - Add several possible options for each phrase to make it less boring.
    - Never repeat same joke twice in row.
    - Only play jokes when time allows, e.g. 1,5 km remaining - a nice oportunity to crank one.
    So just allow recording clear directions and jokes separately and mix them programmatically when makes sense.

    Years ago, before iPhones had Nav apps, I had a TomTom. My TomTom had an X-Wing Fighter Car Icon. Any thoughts to having one for Waze?

  20. Please create a persistent mode for speed limit warning

    Firstly, I have to say that I am not prepared to use another navigation app other than Waze, you guys rock!

    I often drive in areas where I do not know the speed limit. I use the "Alert when speeding" option all the time and rely on it heavily to stay within the required limit. The current functionality gives me an audible alert when I exceed the limit but it is just one sound. Speeding is not just when you drive too fast but also often happens when you enter an area where the limit is suddenly reduced from e.g.…
