Option to have the "menu" and "report" buttons to be invisible so as not to have a burn in ghost image of the buttons on screen.
The screen is usually ON through out the duration of driving. The MENU and REPORT buttons have a high likelihood to be "burned in" screen, creating a "permanent" ghost image.
Having the option to replace it with invisible hotspots (frequent users will know where to touch anyway) will minimize this because of moving images.
AMOLED screens are fairly prone to "burn in"

Elevation on map screen
Add elevation to the main screen, perhaps as an option like having the speedometer.
Not sure if it is possible, but I assume it is, as my old Garmin gps could do it.

App radio One Compatibility
Please update Waze to be compatible with Pioneer AppRadio One car stereos. This was one feature I really wanted and thought I'd be getting with my new car deck, I was disappointed to see it was only compatible with older versions.
65 votesThanks for your suggestion.
As of version 4.51, Waze no longer supports WebLink and AppRadio.

police
Please reinstate the "Police on Other Side" feature. Reporting speed traps is the most useful reason to report police, and traffic moving in opposite direction will always be better suited to identify and report.

Over speed signal
When over speed, the app just makes an usual (not alarming) sound and that is it. It would be better if the app continues to make alarming sound (could be an option) each 10 seconds, until speed goes back under the limit. Besides alarm, it could be said in form of repeating warning message like "over speed" (another option).

Setting to turn off big purple road names
Many times these "new" big purple road names block the map at intersections and make it difficult to know if you are turning onto the correct street.

Lane Guidance on Roundabouts
When approaching a roundabout in the UK, waze will not tell me which lane I need to be in, to take my desired exit.
This is something that Google maps does so WELL! Please consider adding this on waze.

Can we get Car/Bumper stickers so we can see other Wazers on the road while driving
When I see other Wazers on the map it is difficult to see them on the road. It would be good to acknowledge each other as this a community project. So some sort of Waze sticker would be good

"Avoid" option for single track roads with passing places
When travelling in Devon, Cornwall or anywhere where there is a lot of unspoiled countryside, I suggest Waze make available an option in the Navigation Settings to "AVOID" Single Track Roads With Passing Places.

Wazer tracking in real time
It would be great to track in real time one or two people, with their consent, possibly by pinging them to agree, so you can see their movements at the same time with your own live. It would make it much easier to meet up with someone, etc. The SpeedFreak App let's you track up to 4 people in real time and works quite well.

Affichage nom des rues : très gênant !!!
Bonjour,

Road Condition Rating/Grades
Showing potholes is a great feature especially in snowy climate. It would also be great to rate the road and conditions. Such as a block feature or an avoidance feature. I traveled 20mph on a road label 50mph due to how terrible the conditions was, it felt like I hit a speed bump every 40 yards. I would label this road a "D", if I could avoid these roads like a less than "C" feature, that would be awesome. User ratings paired with GPS acceleration compared to the speed limit could really help avoid these disastrous neglected road and pick…

COVID-19 Outbreak Tracking
Provide daily COVID-19 Outbreak Tracking. Your app should display red shaded bubbles over areas with outbreaks, with the bubble size proportional to the outbreak size. For example right now on March 19, 2020, there would be a large shaded red bubble over New York City. This would correspond to the current outbreak in New York city, and advise motorist to avoid this area as a stopover or even as a drive-through. This could help motorists avoid contamination and/or travel delays in the future if there are “containment “ areas. (You could get the data feed from John’s Hopkins or others)
