hi - 2 crucial alerts are missing on this app: 1st one is you have to add an emergency vehicle alert on the list - if there are fire trucks or ambulances for example on the side of the road like the police this would be helpful / 2nd one is to add an alert for utility maintenance trucks or emergency utility working vehicles on the side of the road - this alert would be crucial / Also an optional feature to add alerts for the other side of the road in the other direction just like police but added for hazards as well - add those and i will change my rating to 5 STARS because otherwise this is a GREAT app

Waze should give alerts on the direction of ambulances while on emergency mode so drivers will give them priority on the road ..

Just a suggestion, there have been a number of weather related accidents with both fire trucks, and ambulances on scene sometimes before police, maybe you should have an icon representing those type of “first responders.

I was watching a video of a professional motorbiker delivering blood from Budapest to Veszprém. His route went through traffic jams in the cities, crowded motorways and roads. People tried their best to give him space, you can imagine how fast a motorbike can get behind you from a decent distance.

That was the moment when the idea came: what if people with the same route could be alerted giving them info about a vehicle with red/blue signs and sirens coming behind them, with their position, expected time when it catches up to them, type of vehicle - motorcycle, car, truck, convoy.

And if a special vehicle turns this toggle on and they set their route, people with the same route who may be potentially meeting them on the way could be warned and prepared for example with a pop-up saying be prepared and watch your mirrors.

I was thinking of adding a new button on the map while driving to alert people on my lane that im hearing the sound of an ambulance in case that they aren't
So, it begins to appear on their screen that an ambulance is coming and to stop immediatly on the side to make the path clear for the ambulance before it arrives .
So when red lights and an icon of a siren appears on the screen ,drivers knows that they have to make an empty lane for the ambulance

Alert drivers to clear a lane for ambulance before it arrives like this video that JC Decaux made, but they post it on a billboard, if you alert drivers it could save a life.

I would like my WAZE to warn me when an emergency car (Firefighter, Ambulance, Police, Road Safety) goes up the lines of cars in the traffic jams.
Thus cars could leave the place well before they even in the rearview mirror.

This is a fantastic idea although it might only require ambulance and fire service comand centres to alert sat nav users. We were in solid traffic the other day and we could here the sirens. If we could actually see the emergency service vehicle on the waze screen then drivers could actually get off the road making way for them. When one car moves others follow.

I think to improve the communication when an ambulance is passing from me ... you are always open the way to ambulance pass and to give them the freeway - no stop ... the idea is to communicate the wazers that are in front of me that the ambulance is coming fast on the same road. With this pop up, wazers can change the lane before the ambulance be close them, given the priority to ambulance.
