Por las limitaciones en la Ciudad de Mexico no es posible usar las vias rapidas: viaducto, periferico etc por los coches de carga. Existe alguna solucion para mostrar la ruta segun la categoria de coche (no solamente taxi y particulas)?

Hello I am William Jamros a 7 day a week waze user (because of work) but I drive a commercial vehicle I just was wondering if in the soon future you could put A commercial vehicle option for roads such a palisades parkway because I get lost or end up on a road that is illegal for me to be on because of the commercial vehicle :( I believe it would also make the common working man get your app as well! Thank you for your time if you could contact me back sometime soon regarding this that would great! Until then I will always continue to use waze thank you for such a great GPS! And if you change it don't forget to name the option after me LOL

there should be an option to select if yr driving a car or truck ( or even maybe a bicycle ) , i'm a truck driver and my ETA is never correct because i can only drive 80 to 90 kmh on the freeway , while waze thinks i can go 120 to 130 over here in holland , so ETA will never be correct , it would even be better that there would be an waze for truckers with bridge heigts - roads not allowed for trucks - dangerous goods routes - weight limits etc, but that takes a lot of programming, so maybe that's asking to much , but the "simpeler" option of selecting car ot truck to get ETA right would be easiër to implement ?

Please add an RV platform to WAZE. We use WAZE instead of our navigation system that came with our car and love it. We now have a 40 foot Class A motorhome and want Waze interactive navigation that notifies us of weight, height, width restrictions. Curvy roads, low bridges etc. There is a HUGE RV community and many clubs. I believe all would be avid users and contributors. Any possibility of this in the near future?

Please allow a navigation filter for truck height (or "passenger vehicles only") to avoid low bridges! I am on a "Go Bus" and we almost got stuck under a bridge bc the GPS didn't have this filter!!

Waze is one of the best GPS out there truck driver we need specific routes that we can drive have you ever considered making a truck version. Thank you , Jim

We tow a fifth wheel RV that requires 13' 6" clearance. It would be wonderful if WAZE could choose routes taking clearances. Into consideratIon

I have been a longtime waze user (and promoter to friends).
I would live to see these type of features that I can toggle on when I'm driving my motor home/RV
height and weight restriction notification and routing, are my primary and immediate need
and a secondary or less urgent add would be to include hazmat info. (such as LP restrictions for tunnels)

Re-route if bridges are too low for your vehicle

I absolutely love this app. It has never failed me and has saved me time and money time & again.

But I have a request. I drive a horse trailer, sometimes with 4 to 6 horses on board. I always leave my sound on but often the directions come verbally too late for me to have safe braking distances with live cargo on board. Is there anyway we can get Waze directions verbally 10 to 20 seconds earlier, or better yet have them repeated when I'm getting close to a turn or change of direction? This is the perfect application for me in all respects but this one.

בתור נהג משאית, יש לי צורך בהגדרות ניווט שתואמות את כלי הרכב, כמו מסלולים חסומים לתנועת משאיות, מכשולי גובה ,אורך ומשקל.
אשמח לאפשרות להגדיר רכב כמשאית עם כל הפרמטרים הנ"ל ולנווט בהתאם.

I totally agree. In fact we know that in São Paulo, vehicles like Ambulances and trucks are using Waze with wrong vehicle categorie. This may cause route problem. Ambulance normally uses bus tracks not allowed to passager cars and this may impact on the street speed. For trucks the problem are related to street and time restriction in certain places. The Ambulance need to uses a different category to avoid impact on the route speed and truck to avoid get routes not allow for them.

There are segments that are restricted to certain vehicle types. In these segments, Waze doesn't route even if the vehicle is allowed on the restriction.
For example, if a segment is restricted to all vehicles except buses, Waze does not route this segment even if the user is driving a bus because Waze does not know what is the user's vehicle type, then never routes that segment.
It would be very helpful if the user could choose its vehicle type, so Waze can route the segments where the restriction does not affect their vehicle type.
Waze would continue not routing segments in which the user's vehicle type is restricted.
There are locations where the restriction is by vehicle weight, for example frangible bridges. But the weight is something that varies greatly in each journey, in these cases the restriction should only show a message to the user when starting the route, informing the weight limit allowed, which is set in the segment restriction, as well as are made in restrictions time.

Existem segmentos que são restritos a alguns tipos de veículos. Nesses segmentos, o Waze não roteia mesmo se o veículo estiver permitido na restrição.
Por exemplo, se um segmento está restrito para todos os veículos exceto ônibus, o Waze não roteia essa rua mesmo se o usuário estiver dirigindo um ônibus, pois o Waze não sabe qual o tipo de veículo do usuário e portanto nunca roteia aquele segmento.
Seria de grande ajuda, se o usuário pudesse escolher seu tipo de veículo, de modo que o Waze possa rotear nas ruas onde a restrição não afeta seu tipo de veículo.
O Waze continuaria não roteando nos segmentos onde o tipo de veículo do usuário está restrito.
Existem locais onde a restrição é por peso de veículo, por exemplo pontes frágeis. Mas o peso é algo que varia muito em cada viagem, nesses casos a restrição apenas deve mostrar uma mensagem ao usuário no momento em que ele começar a rota, informando o limite do peso permitido, que é configurado na restrição do segmento, do mesmo modo que são feitas as restrições por tempo.

I would pay for the caravan option, Waze is brilliant but would be even better with a caravan option :)
