We all have that struggle of choosing between the the cool voice that our kids created ( or one of the promo celeb voices) and Jane with street names.
By now we all know that " in 300 feet turn Left on Main Street" Is really 3 separate files "in 300 feet" "Turn Left" " On Main Street"

I would love the option to enable computerized street names with my special voice option. I have asked around about this. Most people would be ok with the knowledge that the street name would not be in the Celeb or custom voice. Adding a toggle option to " include computerized street names with custom sounds" Would enable users to choose that.

For myself, I love hearing my custom voices but feel much safer driving with street name enabled voices.

Whats in it for WAZE? Increased revenue from increased use of sponsored voice files. Safer Drivers, more users. more revenue.

I love the new voice on waze, however you have taken away the names of streets, if you can put it back it would be great. Just saying make a left or make a right is not enough, the street name is essential as well. To say that everything is a hazard and not saying what is helps some but not enought!

Please add spoken Czech street names to Waze. Thank you

When I am using waze directions and a turn is coming up, I am usually prompted with "in 1000 feet make a left". To me, and most people, this means nothing and I make a wrong turn 90% of the time, unless I am staring at the screen. Instead of this vague guidance, there needs to be a specific turn announced - "In 1000 feet, turn left on Green Lane" etc. this would save me and my friends so much frustration! Also, it would make Waze more hands free, which a driving app should be.

All voices need to announce the street names. It is dangerous to just hear turn left or turn right and have to pick up phone while driving

In France (for exemple), the voice pack is limited. The French voice is just a bot. In the future, why not to : buy or propose (free or not) more voice pack for drive in many langage.

My husband has waze on iOS and has the Top Gear Voice but sadly this seems to NOT be available on my android .
Can we please have a categorised search option of more interesting voices than what is currently available?

After choise the address the app speak: "Lets go. Drive safety"
I think can include the main road/street/avenue of the route.
like: "Lets go. Drive safety. We go by 5th avenue"
This can be useful and pratice. Because the driver can have a idea, and avoid to go by anothers routes that is in his mind and lose time...etc

It would be nice if waze could name the street that you turn on along with the distance until the turn would be great

Be able to call out street names of where you have to turn

Street names are often hard to see or even absent. i use Jane to read out the street name, cuz i can't see them on your app. If you make the read street names and on or off feature, then everyone can enjoy the new voices
