Not having this poses additional burden on the volunteers reacting to the 'generic map issues' which is the only way to report this on Android Auto.

Road Closed report function is missing on Waze in Android Auto. From my opinion this is one of the most important functions in order to keep the traffic moving. If I connected to Waze via Android Auto I can not report Road closure, hence navigation keeps on trying to put me back on the the closed road. Also, everyone else are being sent via this road which is closed. Please implement the function of reporting closed road to Android Auto

This is critical as it is the most impactful report that Wazers can provide. I have not reported any of the many closures I have experienced since I began using Android Auto as it is presently impractical, and unsafe. The workaround is unsafe as I must fumble around to disconnect Android Auto, close and restart Waze and then confirm that I am resuming my current drive, just to begin reporting the closure which also requires precise finger inputs on my smaller phone screen... All at a time when I must prioritise solving an unexpected route problem, often with a paying customer depending on me.

Sorry to see this as closed. Just had a discussion (maybe for the 3rd time now?) with a Waze editor on why I marked a road closed. In each case, I'm driving, encounter a temporary closure (construction or accident), and try to tap the closure button in Waze's CarPlay interface hoping I will get routed around the closure. Instead, I end up "Waze-ting" the editors' time because the temporary closure has likely resolved (and I didn't intend to actually report a map problem anyway).

The days of interacting with the phone while driving are nearly gone. People are interacting using Android Auto & CarPlay and an easy way to say "Going the way you are telling me to go isn't an option right now. Get me around it." would be a big improvement (and no doubt stop wasting time for map editors).

Please add this feature! There have been numerous times where I or someone else ahead of me on the road could've reported that the road was closed ahead due to accident/construction /unknown reasons

Please add this feature, as it's got to be the primary way that users interact with Waze.

Adding the closure option on the android auto app would be most helpful going tobsay most people that run into a closure on there map will be using it through android auto or Apple car play

5 years of waiting... is the Waze development team close to a gravity well?

Add the ability to report road closures on android auto, without this it prevents the app from performing its primary function of proving the best route as closed roads go unreported and people have to find their own diversion around a closed road.

Let's get rid of the option to submit a bug via AA and replace it with the ability to report a RTC. This is insane.

There should be a simple way to report a road closure while driving to avoid further distractions while driving. I have to unplug my phone from carplay to try to report the closure so other people don't have the same issue.

How is this still not implemented yet?
