Please offer an ad-free version of Waze.
I'm pretty sick of seeing Taco Bells, Ramada Inns, and Smart Water pop up on my map. I'd pay up to $5 for a version of Waze without advertisements.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

I will never ever ever go to an advertised location. In fact, I'd avoid going there just because it popped up on my Waze. Even worse are the messages asking me if I've seen an Ad, which I will never answer. I understand that Ad revenue is important to this app, so please please please let us pay to turn this shite off. I hate ads, of all kinds. If I want to go to a restaurant, I am perfectly capable of looking places up myself, and am not about to suddenly decide to go to an advertised location because it annoyed me in Waze.

First time driving in San Francisco. Had my iPhone horizontal nice steering column and an ad came up- again. I tried to get rid of it. Thought I had- but it took me off my route to KFC. I'm too busy driving to see that I'm being driven - not on a good short cut- but as a response to trying to get an ad out of my way so I can navigate! When horizontal, the ads take up 2/3 of the map all but blocking out Waze. Please change this or give us ad free version. This is dangerous. Seriously dangerous. Please email me for my screen shot.

It's also a safety issue, causing unneeded driver distraction.

Same concern. Waze you are hereby notified of this dangerous condition. Failure to stop these ads will place you in vicarious liability in all future traffic accidents related to this horrible and dangerous feature. Conduct yourself accordingly.

Had a waze account from the beginning. Loved the app and the way users can contribute but stopped using it once the ads starting hitting our screens. It's been about a year since I last checked so I signed in and tried it yesterday only to find larger ads than there were before. If I could add all 1,000 of my votes to this suggestion I would do it. Please offer an ad free paid version for a reasonable price. Heading back to Google Maps. Will check in again in 6 months.

The popup ads that cover a big chunk of the screen and need interaction to clear need to go. Downright dangerous in a driving app. The icons on the map I can live with, but I'd like to be able to block categories, like fast food, hotels, gas stations, etc. It would keep the map uncluttered and actually be better for advertisers. You's only see the places you are interested in and they highlight better.

New user that won't be an OLD user if the ads keep, popping up on my phone. I would pay 5 bucks and a renewal every year for 3 bucks to,stop ads completely.
You guys are basically using my car to create the app and then not giving me any options to ad free myself...even if I want to pay.

Is there a Paid Ad-Free Version of Waze available? I would gladly pay you to get rid of the obnoxious advertisements that pop up and cover the map while I'm navigating Stop-and-Go traffic. The ONLY thing the barrage of ads has done is help me create a huge Blacklist of companies I will never spend my money at.

One time fee yes. Monthly payment not really.
A lot of us spend hours editing the maps, we are working for free to add content to Waze, I'm okey with working for free but paying to work is a big no no.
But if you must have ads, there should be a system that activates it for the ones that have none or very low ranks on the map editor and/or client.
The ones actively updating the map and reporting on the road should be considered staff and have a ad-free Waze. -

To the previous comment: I would like to have some VISABILITY not disability... Sigh...dastardly spell check strikes again.

Perhaps an option to "ghost" ads or all ads - as an advertiser, I think it would be good if drivers could do that and then turn them on again when they're in a position to view...in a Plaza or parking lot looking for what's around, for example. I am in my first month of advertising my small business on Waze. I understand the concern and frustration when ads obliterate your route BUT I would like to have some disability.

ABSOLUTELY! I'd happily pay as well. My phone screen is already abysmally cluttered with this new UI and the ads don't help.

Please offer an add free version. The adds cover part of the map and it is a distraction to clear the add. Hopefully it will not take a lawsuit for Waze to see the light. I really like Waze but I have to look at safe alternatives at this point. Google Maps for example also shows traffic, routes around the traffic etc and best of all the map is not covered by adds.

I'd prefer to pay and be able to get rid of the annoyance of getting ads. Any chance to get that option?

I'm REALLY sick, of ads to a point where I am ready to completely delete the app, and just use google.
I think it's pretty ridiculous, if we are the community that create the app, and if we have used it for years, so basically we built it with you, and we have gotten to the highest level, it shows you we are dedicated. So please....give us an ad free version.SO SO SO SO SO SO SICK OF YOUR ADS!!!
Also the ads appear often at very dangerous intersections.
If I EVER have an accident, where I'm trying to see where I'm going but Waze pops up with an ad. I will sue you. It happened already, almost twice. Let it not be a third time.Have an option to remove ads! Pronto!!!
