"Both lanes" reporting option
Add a "both lanes" option when reporting traffic jams, hazards, and accidents affecting both directions of travel at the same time.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

When will you add the feature to say what lane an accident, debris, blockage, etc. are in?

Agreed! Was thinking it would be great to be able to report something that is in the median of a highway that would affect both lanes of traffic.

When a vehicle is stopped within a lane due to a break down, the traffic will back up behind that stopped vehicle. it would be nice to move to another lane and avoid the problem.

Yes - just came here to post the same suggestion. When we toggle between my side and other side, there could be a "both sides" and/or "median" option. Both sides may make more sense as others have pointed out; weather will not happen just on one side or in the median!! Haha

. If you could please suggest a way to be notified if Police are ahead for both directions of travel? Many time when you report police ahead it only notifies you if you headed in the direction it was reported. Most times Police are watching both directions of travel!

It would be helpful to be able to identify a specific lane closure right, middle, or left lane..

Things such as fog or rain almost always apply to both directions, it makes little sense to select a lane in those cases.

specially with Police!!! just because they are on one side does not mean they aint looking at both sides!

Sometime cars are stopped in the middle of a lane. The only option is car stopped on shoulder.
Sometimes road construction is in the shoulder. The only option is in the lane.
Would be nice to be able to report which lane or which shoulder as well.

Completely agree! It would also be especially useful for police traps. Around here they like to sit in the grass median measuring speed from both directions.

well, could be. Just not necessary. It works ok with one direction only for me

a very sensible and useful suggestion, a third tap of the my lane/other lane button should toggle both lanes

Having to report twice (hazards, speed cameras) just to have warning in both directions makes no sense!!
Both directions should be the default option! It's the more common use case.
