Dark Mode
The blue background is very bright and can be harsh on the eyes. There is no dark mode or black background option when you open the app.

Next Turn Information Location On Android
The next turn information seems to not move depending on where the driver is seated e.g. I'm from the UK so we are right hand drivers, so for me it would make sense to have the next turn information closer to me.
In android Auto settings there is a driver location setting which i thought would correct the problem but sadly that's not the case.

Add Google Gemini Button Please!
Just like Google Maps has for all in one safety and route changes, destinations, and all available options. Much safer to push a single button and talk than to have to look at phone constantly when changes are needed and driving.

Bring back the average speed zone progress bar and show actual average speed
After the recent Waze interface change, the progress bar for average speed enforcement zones has disappeared.
Previously, there was a vertical progress indicator on the left side of the screen showing my position within the average speed zone. It was very useful because I could instantly see how far I had already travelled through the controlled section and how much remained.
The new interface only shows that the average speed zone has started and the remaining distance until it ends. This is much less intuitive and requires the driver to read information instead of understanding the situation at a glance.…1 vote -
Siri integration for Motorcyclists.
When I say “Hey Siri, using Waze, navigate me home” or similar, it says “you’ll need to unlock your iPhone”.
When I say something like “Hey Siri, using Waze, Navigate me to [postcode]” it replies “getting directions to [postcode], [Town] using Waze” but then NOTHING HAPPENS. The screen, if unlocked, starts the navigation. But as a motorcyclist, the phone would be in my pocket and I would be using my headset to speak to Siri. Please fix this so that it starts the navigation without me having to unlock my phone. The app is close to useless, as-is.

Punto de inicio
Aún no entiendo por qué no se puede poner el punto de inicio por tu cuenta, sin poner tu ubicación actual, es decir, si solamente quiero saber cómo llegar de punto A a punto B pero no estoy ahí, no es posible marcar un punto de salida distinto a donde estoy, me parece increíble

For Australians the new version sucks
Need better updated full area covering school zone warning till I pass the area not just for 10 second when I’m stopped in traffic light..
the old version which becomes red during complete speed camera was the safest and stays till u comepletely pass the area..
Now the schoolzone and speed camera notification stays only 5 second even if were still in one place.. so when i actually entered the school zone with higher speed after stopping in previous traffic light there was mo warning for me.. miss the old version never got a fine using old version for 2…

Fix the IOS so we can type!!!
The Waze app on my iPhone has been glitching and will not allowed me to tap into or type anything consistently for MONTHS - like going on 4-6 Months. I’ve updated it, deleted and uninstalled and reinstalled it — it is unusable nearing 90% of the time. It will not allow me tap on a past or saved destination, will not allow me to search or type or even paste an address. I Want to use it — I CANNOT PHYSICALLY USE IT!!

Closings the app
Before the update, you'd press back twice - and the app would've turned off.
Now, the only way to turn it off is through the notification bar: you have to open the notification bar, then click on the Waze banner, and only now close the app.

Can you bring back the exit option with the back button?
Can you please bring back the exit app option when I hit the back button on my android phone? The whole multi tab swipe to close is annoying

Motorcycle & Car Planned Journeys
Ability to plan both future CAR and MOTORCYCLE journeys at the same time. When planning a journey you should be able to select whether this is for a car or motorcycle. This should be via simple icon selection of vehicle type. That way the optimum car journey is planned and seperately the optimum motorcycle journey is planned. When driving it should be clear which vehicle type the app believes you are driving for that journey.

Flying birds as the icons of the cars
I would like to see bird in place of my car in navigation. I would like to see more options for car icons. Rather than Waze spending time creating the icons, Waze could provide specifications for icons and users could then create and upload their own car icons.

A custom option to visualize charging points, parking, or other transit points of interest
It Would be great to see some custom (selectable) transit points of interest such us parking, charging points, gas Station... Many other map apps have it and doesn't introduce a big visual noise in the map.

New feature prompts
The "New! Report with voice" prompt displayed on my app while actively navigating. This occurred after having the app open for several miles.
Please ensure that these types of notifications either pop up immediately, before allowing you to start your travels, or allow them to auto clear if there is no user input after 15 or so seconds.
The pop up covered nearly the entire window on my device, and required me to take my eyes off of the road and press one of the buttons in order to see my vehicle and map again.

Contacts not showing as before
Dear sir/ma’am,
I have been using Waze for many years and absolutely crazy about it. Compared to any other navigation system, Waze is way above them and there is not even comparison.
Obviously, when I put a name of a contact, it shows their address and if there is more than one, it shows all of it. Past few weeks I noticed that when I put a name/contact, it only shows 1 or 2 addresses while the person has a few more than 2 addresses. Adjust the GPS based on vehicle speed and speed limit signs.
I’m a Waze user from Vietnam, and I would appreciate improvements to GPS speed accuracy with faster, more responsive updates, as well as the ability to customize the size of the speed display and speed limit signs, including a larger, high-visibility mode to better support drivers with myopia, astigmatism, or other visual impairments.

Moto mode
Ce serait super d'avoir un mode moto avec un réglage d'itinéraire différents , mais surtout un affichage plus simple plus gros , pas facile en portant des gants et parfois pas très lisible avec le soleil etc .. affichage de la vitesse et des alertes plus gros .
