Add “Bad Car” Mode
Hi all!
This idea is more for countries who always have problem with fog and ice.
Turning on: Bad Car - mode, automatically chose other route to the destination point avoiding this points and other dangerous.

Speed cameras visual
I would like to provide feedback regarding the recent changes to speed camera alerts in Waze.
The previous speed camera warning system was much better and easier to see while driving. The blue progress bar provided a clear visual indication that a speed camera was ahead and remained visible as you approached and passed it.
The new circular camera indicator is much less noticeable and is harder to see at a glance. It requires more attention to the screen than the previous design, which defeats the purpose of having a clear and safe warning system.

Customizable UI Layout and Quick-Access Report Widgets
I'd like the ability to customize the Waze interface by relocating, resizing, hiding, or rearranging on-screen widgets and buttons to better fit individual preferences and driving habits.
For example, certain reports such as "Vehicle on Shoulder" are extremely common on my routes. Instead of having to tap the Hazard button and navigate through multiple menus, it would be much more convenient to allow users to create customizable quick-report widgets or shortcuts for frequently used reports. Small, movable on-screen buttons could provide faster access while reducing distractions and making reporting more efficient.

Separate Speedometer and Distance Measurement Units
Please add an option to separate the speedometer unit (mph/km/h) from the navigation distance unit (miles/km). Currently, changing one automatically forces the other to change. I live in the UK where all the Speed Limit signs are in Miles per hour but I was taught Metres/Kilometres in school so we are used to a hybrid system here. Would be really helpful!

Add a “Share Suggestion” Button for Easier Voting
A dedicated “Share This Suggestion” or “Share Your Vote” button on idea pages would make the Waze feedback community much more engaging and effective.
At the moment, it’s quite difficult to share a suggestion with friends, family or other Waze users because the post links are not very obvious or easy to access from the search/results page.
A simple share button could:
- Increase community engagement
- Help useful ideas gain visibility faster
- Encourage more voting and discussion
- Make it easier for users to support features they genuinely want
This would especially help popular suggestions gain traction naturally through social sharing, WhatsApp…

Color Coded Parking Icons
Color coded parking icons! Would be super interesting and helpful to take satellite imagery and user reports to code the "P" icon in green for lots of open spaces, yellow for minimal open spaces, and red for no open spaces. This would be easier for garages where users could specifically report it based on info screens.

Bring More Life & Personality to the Map Interface
It would be great to have optional map interface customization for users who spend many hours driving daily.
For example, offering different visual themes with richer colors, improved road contrast, more expressive lane guidance colors, and customizable map appearance modes (modern, minimal, vivid, classic, etc.).
Many drivers use navigation for long periods and a more customizable visual experience could improve readability, reduce fatigue, and make navigation feel more intuitive depending on driving style and personal preference.

UI Improvement for exiting to parallel/marginal roads (Visual Transition Zone)
Hi Waze team!
I would like to suggest a UI improvement regarding maneuvers where the driver needs to exit a main expressway to enter a parallel/marginal road.
The Problem: Currently, when the route requires leaving the main road for a parallel one, the standard purple route line often blends in with the main road on the map. Because the roads are right next to each other, it can be very confusing to determine the exact moment to switch lanes and take the exit, often leading to missed turns.

Still There - Not There buttons in Waze
For the Still There and Not There buttons in Waze, having the buttons next to each other is an issue as you have heard. My suggestion would be to have Still There on the top, the notification reason (Police Ahead, Construction, Accident) in the middle and Not There on the bottom. Because the notification reason is not a button that can be selected this layout would help the issue of hitting the wrong button by accident.

Bottom toolbar shows and hides itself insanely
I use Waze on my iPhone 17 Pro Max screen directly, I often see the bottom toolbar shows and hides itself every 1 second while driving, and when it happens, it will never stop, I have to re-launch the app while driving, which is very dangerous and inconvenient. bouton pour arrêter la navigation via android auto
Depuis quelques temps le bouton pour arrêter la navigation via android auto fonctionne très mal. La réinstallation n'a rien changé ni le vidage des caches. Dommage je pense retourner vers Google Maps pour éviter ce souci récurrent.

"Closed Road" in quick access
(not sure of the english term in Waze App)
One of my UR mentionned the idea to have a quick access at "Closed Road" without having to search in menu.
Most of time, users are using "Incorrect route" or "General error" instead of "Closed Road"

Talk to report
Talk to report turns itself off when I press the button to turn on. Used to work but when I used it a month after the feature came out, this issue arisen.
