View map on mobile to select point on map, law enforcement
Similar to Google Maps interface, in which I can pin a point on the mobile app and start navigation on Android Auto. I frequently use Waze to safely navigate to reported accidents, debris and disabled vehicles. Waze reports are significantly more location-accurate than my dispatcher saying "Respond to the area of Exit 45 for a crash." Before the last update, I could force stop Waze on my phone, reopen the app to the map, pin a location next to the incident and start navigation, then reopen the app on Android Auto to navigate. Banner At Top of Screen
It would be nice to have a banner at the top of the screen to make getting back to the Waze app easier. Google Maps does this.

Add a traffic bar to map
Have a "Traffic Bar" that appear in the routes screen overlayed on the main map.
add a car to the bar that moves along with your journeys completion.

Add way-point to route via map
Currently it is not possible to select a spot on the map and add it as way-point to the current route. This would be very useful to quickly modify the given route to personal preferences.

Android auto integration
Android auto integration is pretty terrible. Search has no voice option. And when I switch to spotify it's just a blank screen when loved to the side widget screen, it really only shows next turn if actively using navigation. There is such a missed opportunity like how Google maps does their integration.

Music Audio Quality
Dear @waze - I believe you have one of the best navigation app in the AppStore. But, there’s one major problem. When connected to Apple CarPlay, the audio quality is horrible when playing music!! Horrible enough that I’m forced to use Apple maps. Please fix this problem.

Give option to specifically show nearest "pac-man" roads, if we want to do extra munching and not have to search for them.
There are times when I might have a few extra minutes, not in a rush, and wouldn't mind doing some munching for extra points (and to help your maps). Would be cool if there was an option for something like that (e.g. "show nearby munching roads" or "show munching roads in red/highlight them"). Thanks for reading!

Allow the user to copy and paste locations/directions
Why doesnt Waze mobile allow the user to copy and paste locations but instead creates a long and convoluted way to send directions to others or copy them for sharing. Other apps like google maps allows a one click copy to clipboard to share. It should be that simple, i cannot ever share the location with anyone because it creates a link for people. Why a link, just copy the directions only. Im surprised its not a part of the app already.

Report dangerous driving
Would be super Helpful having an icon to report DANGEROUS DRIVING on Brazilian maps. Too many drivers do not drive safely and overpass de speed limit letting others drivers in danger.
Would be SUPER if Waze could add this service for thee good of all carefully drivers.

Add full support on HUD displays on cars
When using Waze in my Car via Android Auto, it shows show semi support on the HUD display.
For example, when turning left on roundabout, the arrow and symbol shows straight instead of circle with left arrow surrounding it.
Another support is missing - When driving on road with several lanes and need to stay on right lane or left lane, no lanes appear on HUD, only straight arrow.
Google Maps and Sygic work great with HUD display so it's clearly an issue with Waze.
Please fix.

Map edit
Hi,
I work at 310 Miwate Pvt. When clients use your map/GPS system, it takes them to the wrong address. Can you please update your map. You are missing the correct Miwate Pvt entirely and have the wrong street named as Miwate Pvt. I am unable to attach pictures to this, but if you use Google Maps to compare, you will see the errors.Thanks!!

Show Road events information in Map view - Plan Route
In the earlier version of Waze this feature was available. With the new update the feature disappeared:
When choosing the best route out of 3 options Waze shows the list of route and the map. In the Map View not it is missing the traffic information!!!!To be able to choose the best route it is totally necessary to see WHERE exactly along the route you should expect traffic.

Make non-residential place addresses indexed and routable
Editors spend much time adding RPPs to public places because the addresses in the place points are not indexed/routable and the HNs won't connect to the parking lot roads. Plus if routing uses the Google Maps address we spend more time handling URs because the Wazer got routed to the back of the location rather than the front door. This is an absurd waste of time, and adds untold complexity and clutter to the map. Please expand the place addresses to allow for suite numbers or other identifiable info where businesses share the same basic as GM already does, and…

Improve your UI for submitting map issues
This is both in the Waze phone app and in the Map editor. When submitting a map issue, the text box is very small and not obvious. It's barely visible so it's easy to miss and only select the issue and hit send.
In the map editor, when replying to a comment about a map issue, the Done button is big a blue and the Send button is small and grey. It's very easy to spend a few minutes typing a reply then hitting Done instead of Send and therefore losing the entire message.You should really work on your…

First time or current users, will definitely wish their username to be shown in their suggestive added place. That can make them proud
As we do when we see our username in places
Among the issues that rise and worry the editor community was if editors approved and edited the PUR for some mistakes such as mobile phone format or categories or names (caps ON), it then will give the user trusted status on 30th approved edit
