1. Show directions in vehicle Dashboard

   Recently Google Maps had an update so the turn to turn directions and are now shown in Ford Sync 4 vehicle dashboard. Apple Maps also has this feature for years. Can Waze also bring this functionality helping to see in the dash or head up display so we can keep more focused on the road? It would be fantastic if Waze can be on the same level as other navigation apps.

2. Android auto - Traffic bar - Traject controle - Traction control on the highway

   Hi,

   I miss the traction control on the highway, Traject controle in Dutch, before you enter it, it shows it but doesn't show the bar on the left side such as like on the phone.

   I miss the left bar where the start is of the traject controle.
   It's also a missed feature on Apple-Carplay

3. Spoken Turn-by-turn Directions (Bug Report)

   First, I don't think you could possibly make it more difficult for a user to report a bug that needs attention.

   Now, on to the problem. I run Waze on an iPhone 5s. Since I upgraded to iOS 9.3, the spoken turn-by-turn directions have become clipped or truncated. Previously, Waze would say, "In a quarter of a mile, turn left ..." Now, Waze says, "In a qu, turn left." This truncation or omission occurs on all directions that anticipate a turn, i.e., "in 1000 feet" or "in 500 feet" is now completely omitted. This results in the driver being directed to turn prematurely. NOT GOOD!

   I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Waze on my iPhone. The problem remained. I am running Waze 4.4.0.0 on an iPhone 5s with iOS 9.3.1. I use a Bluetooth connection to my 2015 Honda CR-V. My sound settings are Play Sound to Phone Speaker (Off), Prefer Bluetooth (On), Mute Waze during calls (On), Voice language (English US Jane), App Volume (max).

   I hope you can direct me to a fix. Otherwise, I will become a former Waze user.

4. Android auto split screen

   Android Auto now displays directions in split-screen, on google maps you can click the icon and shows in full screen, please implement this

6. Resume drive notification

   A toggle to send silent notification.
   Resume drive notification option when waze was stopped without exiting navigation.

   This could be a nice option to me and for everyone that eccidentaly closes the app by clearing apps. And also when you are driving and waze is stopped by system.

   For me the app closes automatically on my mate 20 Pro while I'm navigating with sound direction via headphones. And I am not even aware when it happens. With this option I would be able to change the notification sound for that and know waze has closed and resume with one click.

8. Move Over or Slow Down

   Instead of saying "Look out, vehicle on shoulder ahead," can the alert instead say 'Move over or slow down, vehicle on shoulder ahead.' Most states have move over laws and we want drivers moving over or slowing down for roadside vehicle situations. 'Look out' is not only jarring and uninformative, it lacks guidance and direction on what action drivers should take.

9. Permanent road closures in London

   Permanent road closures in London
   There have been so many new road closures due to the LTN scheme (low traffic neighbourhoods). There is nowhere on the app that allows you to say that the road has been blocked to traffic in both directions at a particular point and that it is a road closure – usually permanent. Please add permanent road closure as an option.

10. Restroom Search

    Please add feature to search for closest restrooms on route - rest areas, public restrooms at gas stations and restaurants. Waze admin responses to other bathroom feedback states users can search for “restroom” or “toilets”, but this feature does not work. Waze directed me to a rest area 20 miles away. Gas station search sent me to 4 San Diego area gas stations, 1 closed and 3 with no public restrooms. The closest restaurant required a minimum purchase for the restroom door code.

11. Some report suggestions, vehicle options, route options for the Waze Team

    Just some ideas please address:

    • the thanks and not there options for apple car play to not automatically disappear until 2 miles approx. distance passed(or provide an option for the user to change that delay) beyond the reported icon there is some delay in when they appear

    • A new icon for the flooding hazard, as well as blueing a path to show on gps and gps to warn or detour upon suddenly appearing at some point in calculating route before after during etc

    • Allowing users start/ end of long traffic icon , include system detection for drivers driving really slow prompt them the option to answer why?
    * if user reports hard traffic jam for waze for that person only to receive a recalculated route
    **continuously recalculated as more waze users use that option

    • Allow users who pass through lengthened traffic/flood/ accident/construction/etc. to confirm completion with a button OR drag a line upon pressing a start point with a color reflecting the respective hazard/ system to detect the completion via speed on highways/streets doing same highlight work without user input but done automatically

    • A new vehicle type for trucks and another for commercial vehicles (not all commercial vehicles are trucks and some ppl fear being near them otherwise I would say just trucks)

    • options to
    avoid turnpikes - some ppl have a preference
    avoid parkways - nyc does nt allow commercial travel through here
    avoid bridges - fear of heights
    avoid tunnels - claustrophobia, fear of tight spaces

    Please change freeways or add avoid highways as not all highways are freeways the language is confusing.

    Just some ideas please address:

12. Safety road is follow one way circles

    FOLKS, PLEASE READ THIS IS URGENT.
    I have 20 years o driving experience, well my friends died on roads too.. Last time technical failure caused the truck in opposite direction lost its trailer. 80 + 80 = 160kmph = HE DIED.
    Therefore I have imagined how ie. distributors (PpL, DHL,UPS..) travel in circles... In general average, I better don't want to meet these guys in opposite direction. In mathematical model I want to minimize other Wazers passin by. I'd like to get SOME model applied in general and follow just because I am scared of front crash. SOME could be pretty much from existing data of "Avoid complicated left turns". Please navigate us to minimize passing by. Similar road arrangement can be seen ie. also on some festivals so it is not just a dream!! I prefer to come 10min late than never [+].

13. Gas stations hours of store and 24 hour pay at pump service

    Often gas stations and the attached convenience stores have different hours of use if the pumps feature a pay at pump option. Would be great if for gas stations if there was a "24H pay at pump" checkbox option and editors were directed to update such station with hours to reflect when the location is open for "full service". Client could be updated to include those station in fuel such with a note that at arrive time store is closed and that pay at pump is only option (some people like me use cash).

14. Live Alerts Notifications for my favorite/default routes

    Currently there is a feature for Travel planning to schedule departure times, but not always used for most common routes or favorites (for example going home), and I think need to be set every time you plan a travel...

    The idea is to be able select routes from my favorites or set specific routes (start to finish points) and if some specific type of alert (that we can define, e.g Accidents, or delay time, etc) is posted in Waze on that way, we can receive a real time Waze Notification, Message and/or email with that type of alert at the moment was posted (and validated by others users maybe), so we can be aware prior to depart, that something is happening, on that specific route (based on my settings), and recommend other alternate routes to that way (if any), without need to set the Travel Planner all days for the common/often used routes. By the way, as other suggestion, if can we allow/save the travel planner to works multiple days, e.g during the week for same location (home), so be updated based the traffic...? :)

15. New UI prevents sleep after starting a drive

    Sleep button used to be accessible via the bottom left menu. Now it’s inside the top right new UI which is not on screen (not clickable) when a drive is started…
    The UI changes need to be better tested for usability because this is frustrating and not needed…

16. please improve asap and make things more convenient to customers.

    It should not be so ******* hard to set a new start point and map out my directions. this is horrible. I've tried it so many times via. google, and other people's suggestions and nothing. this is terrible and unbelievable that you all would not make this option a convenience to customers.

17. Annoying issue with the App

    Bonjour,
    Il y a « problème » récurrent avec l’application.
    Exemple concret :
    Je renseigne une adresse, je valide.
    Et parfois l’application remplace toute seule cette adresse par mon favori « home »
    Si je ne m’en aperçois pas je file direction la maison au lieu de l’adresse inscrite.
    Je précise que ce bug s’est produit pour d’autres personnes !

18. More options for changing distance units

    Having the map directions/ETA distance units option as well as the speed limit option. For example, the map directions/ETA in kms and then showing the speed limit in miles.
    This would be useful for someone driving out of country to be aware of the speed limit while maintaining their preferred units for the directions.
    I am a Canadian living in the US therefore am driving in miles/speed limit is in miles but I have a better sense of distance in kms.

20. Police (Median)

    We need a “Police (Median)” alert that warns traffic in both directions on an interstate. Police (hidden) and Police (other side) don't always apply. This alert would warn traffic in both directions of the interstate or divided highway, since most police run front and rear radars simultaneously.
