Program a way to pause Wyze when one is taking a deliberate detour. For example you plan a drive, on the way you decide to take a detour
Program a way to pause or stop Wyze while you are driving, using a voice command. Do this so you can stop or pause Wyze while driving and not have to touch or look at screen.

Built-in drive safely
I believe it would be worthwhile to build-in in Waze a Drive-safely module, disconnecting tel/messages/ and so on , as all apps I tried somewhere corrupt the Waze Gps screen. As Waze knows I'm driving , knows where I'm driving to , and even know at which speed I believe it is not a really difficult programmation .

Roam free in parking lot
If a parking lot is marked as a landmark in WME, let the client roam freely within the area without 'snapping' to the nearest road. The advantage is that your location relative to entry/exit can be seen and the screen doesn't jump all over the place trying to guess which lane/road you are nearest.

Voice reporting
It's dangerous to take your eyes off the road to tap the phone. Simple, single word utterances could be made for each button on the screen so reporting could be both timely, and safe.
1 voteGreat news! Voice reporting with Google Assistant is now available in Waze.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Hello!
I have 3 suggestions what can be changed or added in app.
1. It will be nice, for me, if i can have outer temperature in navigation screen during driving. I have old car which dont have this feature by default.
App can refresh this very often if outer temperature feature is enabled in app during driving (navigation mode)
2. I like on google maps app, when i set my direction and navigation mode starts i can turn off my screen on smartphone to save energy.when i want slto see where i am and details from navigation, i just…3 votes -
Do not cancel driver reports for mis-taps
Suggestion: Do not dump Wazers completely out of the reporting process because of a mis-tap or error.
Problem solved: Prevents Wazers from having their attempts to help totally aborted due to mistakes, which is discouraging, frustrating, annoying, demoralizing, and may discourage Wazers from submitting future reports.
Discussion:
When a user opens the report feature on a mobile device, they are presented with a collection of icons to choose from. If, because they are driving and trying to pay attention to the road, they happen to miss the target and accidentally tap the space between icons, the report display cancels out.…

Small footprint car icon set on the iPhone
Could you please consider to either bring back or reintroduce small footpeimt car icon set. There was very basic set of a blue, yellow or green car set, that were smaller in size and for the smaller car screens they were very ergonomic. Now with the replacement of a larger versions, map screen becomes more cluttered, larger car icon takes more space on the screen and does not bring any value just distraction. When you try to glance to the screen while driving you see big car icon first and then trying to figure out what is around the…

Stop popups while driving
Our insurance provider gives a discount for safe driving. To get the discount I can't touch a screen while driving. While driving using Waze, popups block the screen but I can't close them. If there is no way to disable ALL popups, I will uninstall waze and find another app.

Action "Navigation Home\Work" for Scenarios (Samsung)
In Samsung s24 Ultra there is Scenarios.
There I can define "if xxxx do next actions xxxx,xxxx,***,...".
I can open waze by scenario , but I get it opened automatically by Android Auto in any way.
Google maps has option to choose : open Google Maps, Navigation Home and Navigation Work.
For waze there is only open Waze.
I tried to set Navigation by URL link&navigaton=yes , but it doesn't work with locked screen.1 vote -
Android Auto Enhancements
The Android Auto integration is pretty good, but what would make it perfect is just a couple tweaks:
1) Make it auto-start when you start Android Auto. I don't mean it would come up instead of the AA home screen, I mean unlike Google Maps, when you have Waze as your default mapping app, your typical destinations don't appear on the AA home screen until you click the map icon. I also cannot hit my car's "Nav" button to get me into Waze until I've manually opened it once. With Google Maps as default, I can hit Nav button…

iPhone Vs Android. Detailed Directions on iPhone, missing on Andoid.
When plugged in via USB an iPhone shows the map on car display and detailed instructions on the iPhone display. Android phone shows map on car display but a blue screen on the phone display, why? Show directions on Android instead of a stupid blue screen! This app is superior on iPhone for that reason. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Blows my mind this feature is not in Android. I want to know 4-5 streets in advanced where I'm going and the turns I need to make so I can get into the proper lane ahead of time.

Display next instuction after the current one
It would be really handy if you could always show the turn instruction after the current on screen instruction. It will help with early lane positioning. Ideally including the lane that you need to be in.

Shorten clicks needed for reporting hazard on road/on shoulder.
When driving, trying to press the multi-clicks needed to report on road/on shoulder hazard is frequently impossible. With many states having the "move over" law, having ample warning for vehicles on the shoulder is critical. Would be nice to be able to customize one or two buttons to put on the Home Screen that can be activated with one click.

PITSTOP button
The screen needs a “PITSTOP” button for rest area, gas and food stops. The continual redirection as soon as you leave the programmed route is annoying and unnecessary. You could just hit PITSTOP as you leave the route and then press it again when you return to the chosen route. You could have a color coded button to make it easier to read.

worrisome design trends lately
I'm noticing some worrisome design trends lately in Waze, please don't ruin an app that was almost perfect as it was!
Examples:
1) forcing Google Assitant down our throats, when the voice recognition Waze used before was flawless;
2) those arrows on top (lane guidance) telling which lane to use are completely unnecessary and redundant and take up screen real estate;
3) the new speed camera warning in white down below is ugly af, contrasts with my dark color scheme, and again, takes up valuable screen real estate unnecessarily and reduces the part of the map we see, it was…2 votes -
android auto - location of icons
It would be great if the location of icon is on the side of where the driver seated. For example, if Waze is used in USA, the icons should be on the left side of the screen. If waze is used in India, icons should be on the right side of the screen. If not all icons can be moved around, at least the speed and speed limit icons placement would be good enough. That way a driver do not have to reach farther for an action or look further to see the speed/speed limit.

Add a general route view to Waze in Android Automotive (AAOS) in cars with two screens available (similar to Google Maps for Android Auto)
Add the possibility to see the general route view in the main car screen, while having the navigation route view in the screen behind the steering wheel. In this way, it is possible to make use of the two screens in the cars - one showing the navigation, the other showing the overall route (as it is available on Google maps for Android Auto). Thanks

Keep Audio Display Open After Notification
If a user has the audio display open on their app (i.e. showing Spotify info on the upper third or so on the screen) and a notification is received - like for a car on shoulder, police ahead, etc. - once that notification is over, bring back the audio display that was already opened. It's annoying that after every notification that's received, no matter if I interacted with it or not, I have to hit the Spotify icon each time to bring it back up so that I can change songs and whatnot. I'm sure there's a way to…

Zoom to crash when planning trip
When planning a trip, on the GO NOW screen it shows icons for crashes, warnings, and delays in a line along the route. It would be nice to be able to tap these icons and be zoomed into where the incident is so we can decide other routing choices based on our own local knowledge, or change when we make the trip.
