1. Verbal Speed Camera Alerts should be on constantly or make a button

   In the UK, people loved Waze, simply due to its Verbal Alerting behaviour for everything. But a few months ago, speed camera verbal alerts were turned off if you're under the speed limit.

   Not only is this dangerous but it could cause speeding tickets. Let me explain with this is problematic:

   1) firstly, the main priority should be to get out eyes off the screens and on the road. It's self explanatory, if I'm constantly having to look fir the speed camera sign on the app and my eyes are off the road then this is a disaster waiting to happen at 70mph. Please note, not everyone needs to speed to be made aware of a camera, we should just be alerted.

   2) the new feature is that you need to be above the speed limit to be warned/alerted of a camera, but in the UK we have smart motorways (which aren't smart but are a pain). On these motorways we have speed limits that change according to the traffic and can be 20mph now and 60mph the next hour, the cameras here are also set to change their flashing threshold per the updates, but for Waze, how does it make sense that I will only be alerted if I'm going 61mph when the live speed limit change is 30mph.

   3) what if I'm under the speed limit 500meters behind the camera and then don't see the icon on screen or the camera as I get closer and get flashed doing 24 in a 20 zone and since the last year UK has changed from average 30 zones to 20 and this makes going over 20mph very easy by accident.

   Please fix this issue OR LET US CHOOSE AND GIVE US A BUTTON.

   If you don't want us having constant speed camera alerts, whether below, at or above the speed limit, then please AT LEAST GIVE US THE OPTION.

   Just make a toggle button and everyone will be happy.

   This is a big talk in the UK car scene right now and unsure why more tickets have not yet been made.

2. "Not there" option for all incidents on route clickable, not just on alerts

   When on route, when there are multiple reports and alerts for police or cars on a side of road it only alerts you of only one, there others sometimes are just missed to click the "not there" option and the alert stays there for others. You should be able to click the report and show the "not there" option all times, not just the like button.

4. Seeing other that need assistance

   I thought it would be helpful to have an Assitance request in Waze, but I wondered if there could be a feature instead of me requesting assistance for me if it could be for someone else. Also, there was a stretch of highway where I did see someone on the other side pulled over, trying to alert for assistance. I was wondering if that could be a future feature. By the time I got close to the off-ramp to drive the other way, it already was 30 minutes, and I decided to keep going because I was hopeful that maybe someone did stop to help that person.

5. Speedlimit options

   To the chosen speed limit, add thees alert options:
   - checkbox for soundalert
   - checkbox for light alert
   - checkbox for keep alerting while above the chosen limit...
   this allows you to chose a combination of them also...

7. Get alerts when I'm close to a location that I have previously marked as a point of interest

   I would like to mark points of interest (POI) ahead of time (maybe via Google Saved locations?) and have Waze alert me when I'm near it, without having to plan a complete route to go via those POIs. Whenever Waze realises that I'm within a defined range of that POI it could alert me and offer to guide me there as a waypoint. I don't always plan routes in advance, and even when I do I often wander off-course to investigate potentially interesting roads, waterfalls, scenic spots etc.

8. Speed cameras notification

   The alert should notify 1000m before the actual place. this will give sufficient time for drivers to slowing down the vehicle instead of emergency break.

9. Repetitive Alerts Should be Summarized

   Recently, I was using Waze on Northbound I-280 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The traffic was pretty bad. Waze is pretty popular around here and folks were reporting the bad traffic. So much so in fact that you could barely see the map. It seems to me that if you have more than two or three people basically reporting the same thing (in this case stopped traffic) you can simply summarize and say "multiple bad traffic reports" or some such. The current extremely cluttered screen is basically useless.

   In this case, I was using an iPhone, but I think this would occur on any platform.

10. Aquaplanning risks

    I would like to suggest introducing “Aquaplaning risk” as a climate alert. It should be useful during raining days to another driving wazers driving in Portugal (I'm portuguese) and of course all over the world.

11. Readd the autozoom disable funtion

    The autozoom disable function was removed in the last update. I am very disappointed with this. I never used autozoom and I am not a fan. I like to stay zoomed out so now I am fighting with the app every few minutes. Please return this function. I am not the type to makes threats to stop using something but I researching other navigation apps to avoid doing this. Or at least let me set the zoom function (how far to zoom in and out and at what speeds). I could set it all consistently if I don't want it to zoom at all. Or allow me to set the zoom based on distance to my next turn. That is much more helpful than speed. That being said I should be able to set it to zero if desired to disable autozoom. Thanks.

12. Create an alert for animals (Deer) as a road hazard

    I have a Waze user in my area that is good about reporting animals (specifically Deer) on or near the roadway. I understand Waze disabled this feature for unknown reasons, I wish Waze would bring this feature back.

    BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) — Drivers using some of the major interstates and highways in Northeast Wisconsin will now notice a new alert on message boards warning them when there’s a wrong-way driver.

    It is one of the scariest moments drivers could face — heading down the highway or interstate at 70 miles an hour and headlights come straight at you.

    Brown County Sheriff’s Patrol Captain Dan Sandberg says it’s all too common and often ends with someone injured or killed, as happened on I-41 in southern Brown County in August.

    “It’s almost a weekly occurrence that we have somebody wrong way on the highway. Just recently, again last week, had another wrong way driver on (Interstate) 43,” says Sandberg.

    So when he saw a story we aired recently about message boards in Milwaukee County alerting people about wrong way drivers, he set to work to make it possible here.

    A few phone calls and one meeting later, the new alert system was activated last Thursday.

    Four days later, it was already put to use for an elderly driver going the wrong way on I-43.

    “It could take the officers, depending on where they are, anywhere from a couple minutes to five minutes to 10 minutes to get in that area, and that’s extra time we can warn whoever’s driving on that highway,” says Sandberg.

    “And that way people can be paying attention to it, because if you’ve got two vehicles at speeds of 70-75 miles an hour towards each other, you don’t have much time to react.”
    Here’s what happens: The 911 call comes into the Brown County Communications Center. Deputies are dispatched, and immediately dispatchers then call the State Traffic Operations Center in Milwaukee, which controls DOT message boards and cameras.

    With the punch of a few buttons, an alert reading “wrong way driver reported: use caution” will appear on message boards on the roads where the driver was last seen.

    “If you see a sign come up, what you need to do is start paying attention to every car that’s coming in the opposite direction of you to ensure that vehicle is actually on the correct side of the roadway,” advises Sandberg.

    He says most wrong way drivers are in the left lane, thinking they’re on a two lane road, so if you see one, stay to the right and call 911.

    Sandberg says, currently, alerts can broadcast on message boards on Highways 172 and 29 and Interstates 43 and 41, where he says the majority of wrong way drivers are reported.

    But this is not just happening in Brown County. Sandberg says the Department of Transportation is working to expand the system to Outagamie and Winnebago Counties, too.

14. Please remove the daily limit on alerts.

    Daily limit on map alerts for police and vehicles on shoulder is WAY too low. Please raise the limit. On a long trip of 600 miles i passed through major cities and the amount of alerts goes up of course. This limit should be related to the WAZE score for the user. The higher the points, the more alerts per day you can send.

15. AES location in malaysia

    AES in Malaysia is pointed at the opposite lanes, the waze alert is mentioned in our lane but the opposite lane camera is not mentioned. Please alert the user of all AES camera areas. Thank you.

16. There should be 2 categories of choosing Zoom settings, when navigating and when just driving

    When I'm navigating to a specific place, it makes the most sense to zoom based on the distance to the next turn because it makes a visual reminder for the turn coming up and shows the most detail. If I just have waze open, however, it doesn't know when I'm turning, so it should zoom based on speed. I realize not everyone may want this, however, so make 2 categories of zoom options: choose how you want it to zoom when navigating and how how you want it to zoom when just driving.

17. Waze has the framework to potentially help avoid chain reaction vehicle accidents

    I have been studying chain reaction vehicle accidents for years and I belive that Waze may have most of the architecture already in place to alert drivers not yet at the accident scene to slow or stop, which would minimize or eliminate the wreckage, injuries and deaths that occur when low-visability causes vehicles to continue running into a crash site, creating a chain reaction accident. My request is to communicate with one of your engineers to discuss the concept.

18. Multiple vehicles

    A quick way to toggle settings between two or more vehicles. When I drive my truck I use the expressways, I use alerts only, and diesel is preferred. When I ride my motorcycle I don't use expressways, I turn on navigation since my phone stays in my pocket, and premium gas is preferred. A way to save particular settings when toggling between private and motorcycle would be appreciated.

19. User option to define the value you want the speed exceeded alert to be given!

    I know that by default it is 30Km/h but in many situations 30 is a very "large" range when going from 120 to 100 in a controlled zone P.E. on the A29

    This value should be a user-defined option!

    The warning must be given a few meters before entering the area at a new speed
    (The precedence can also be a value to be defined by the user)

20. Map issue since the update

    Hello Waze Developers,

    I wanted to share some feedback regarding the Map interface that has been changed since the last update.

    I use Waze in horizontal mode in my car, and I’ve noticed that I am no longer able to see my speed when there’s an alert. Previously, the speed bubble was on the left side and, even when an alert appeared, the bubble remained above it.

    Now that the bubble is positioned in the middle, it seems that when an alert appears, it covers the speed, making it difficult to view. Would it be possible for the speed bubble to be moved above the alert?

    I really enjoy using Waze, and since my car’s speedometer is slightly off, I rely on Waze for accurate speed information. It would be wonderful if this could be considered in a future update.
