Waze shows small white bar, during normal usage.
White bar is existing when using waze.

Static Zoom Level
It's very distracting as a driver to have the map constantly zooming in and out every time you change speed, or approach/depart an intersection. When a user change the zoom level, it's because that's where they want it.
There should be a toggle that sets the map to follow your location, but maintain the zoom level to wherever the user manually sets it.
It should also no longer follow your location if the entire route is on screen.

Reduce size of lower notification box
Lower Notification bar too high and wide:
The lower bar that shows ETA, time and Km left occupies too much area of the screen, hiding vital information very often.
When there is a warning, like for example, an imminent radar, the notification box gets even bigger and covers like 1/3 of the screen, hiding something as vital as the max. speed allowed.
The lower bar could display the same info using one third or even less screen space than it uses now. I suggest you to reduce its size and maybe keep it in the left lower corner…1 vote -
Default text/email contact
95% of my journeys that need someone to know when I'll arrive are me commuting from work. It would be great to have a 'speed dial' feature on the map screen to reduce the clicks to tell the missus when I'll be home.

Resize directions box while connected to Android Auto
After recent updates, the box displaying directions covers half the screen when connected to Android Auto. Please shrink the box, allow users to move it or resize it. It makes it difficult to see where you are going on the map sometimes.

One click navigation to Saved places after starting waze
You start waze everyday and you everyday pick one of 5 routes.
But you need 3-4 clicks to do so and after every step, you have to do 3-4 quick decision and reading. It takes you attention to waaay too long.Imagine new optional One click home screen:
- no map on home page (but yes, there are button to show map)
- precalculated routes to all of your saved places IS there
- all routes with 3 best variants, your preffered way is highlighted and Allways Shown, major issues highlighted

Voice control for alerts - both acknowledging and reporting
To Avoid looking at screen to acknowledge or report warning. Tap screen anywhere and say ‘waze. Accident. Or waze traffic standstill or waze still there or waze no longer there. Looking at picking lists while driving is not a good idea I feel

Disable message "Thanks You helped nearby Wazers"
I am getting the message "Thanks You helped nearby Wazers" after reporting an issue and am then unable to see the information at the bottom of the screen (including ETA and distance) until I restart the app. This started happening to me a couple weeks ago. Based on previous suggestions (some from over 10 years ago), you are supposed to be able to go into Settings - Notifications and "turn off Thanks Message" but that's no longer an option. I have turned off all push notifications in the settings, and that does not work, either. The only solution I have…

Make Reminder feature disappear on time
Please make reminders on iPhone disappear on the top screen after a few seconds rather than staying permanently during driving. My iPhone reminder pops up a reminder of an event while I am driving and distracts my driving because it blocks the upper part of the Waze app and prevents me from seeing directions on turning out how many miles are left. The best would be for the iPhone reminder to just come up and disappear after a few seconds. Thanks

"Recently" and "Suggestion" Enable-disable option
Half screen of app called "Waze" because that lines on mobile Android version, coming up from bottom of screen with "Recently" and "Suggestions" totally unnecessary. Developers please put some settings to "Enable" or "Disable" that annoying lines with "Recently" and "Suggestions" appearance from bottom in future updates.

Notification staying up too long and makes information unreadable in the new android auto vehicle display. Close button non functional
Either fix the response of the android auto screen controls so buttons don't require multiple touches or long press (literally 5 seconds at times, even in the report window, literally any button). Cut the time stuff sits on the screen, fix speed sensitive notifications duration, or add a setting to change how long notifications remain on the screen. Incredibly distracting when you have to touch a button 5 times or hold it until the system notices you.

Hello there , as a user of wazzee and pioneer , my weblink app on pioneer allow me to take waze to my pioneer screen soni csn se gps on the radio. Although both screens are ative, any chance of when pioneer radio is using waze gps to turn off the phone so i can use otherapps?

Update online help re:Using your personal address book contacts to navigate (for iOS)
Current online forum help does not accurately describe how to enable Waze to access your personal address book contacts to navigate (for iOS). After some back/forth with Waze staff I was able to find how to do so.
To enable Waze to access your personal address book for iPhone
- Ensure you are logged into Waze under the “settings” section
- Open up Waze and press “search”
- Press “Where To?” And it will take you to the next “Where to” screen that shows “Talk to Waze” and “Favorites” below the search bar.

Colour code hazard reporting
colour code the hazard ‘boxes’ on the reporting screen.
Wazers past the age of 40 may struggle to see the hazard icons and text - would be useful to have those colour coded so that eyes are off the road for the shortest possible time.2 votes -

I absolutely HATE the newest update!!!!
You take almost half of the original map screen for something most already have (what's playing). I guess the next turn is OK, but I'd rather see it as a chyron on the bottom of the map screen. Can I go back to the last version?!?!???
