provide a Navigation Prompt whenever the road name changes.
This is needed in two scenarios:
When a turn from Smith Ave to Jones Street, for example, is slight enough the client provides no direction. No matter how slight the angle of entry to a new road is, the client should say "turn right" or "slight right" on the road with a different name than the current road. STOP 180° car rotation when standing still
So I come to a stop light, and after a while, my car and map (not the screen) rotates, I guess, as it thinks I actually did make a U turn. Problem is my speed is 0km/h. It happens even when you have a destination to navigate to, and then, all of u sudden, I'm turned around and I'm being shown to make first to the right. I start driving, the whole thing rotates ones again, and I miss my left turn !?!?! I think it's because it get's a satellite position which shifted a bit, so it thinks that…

Allow selection of address from device address book to avoid rekeying info already on the device

choose navigation type on navigation screen and on route picker
To switch between Shortest or Fastest you have to go into settings->navigation->type and choose shortest or fastest. I often switch between these modes when picking my route so it would make sense to have that option available in the same screen as where the routes are chosen AND on the "navigate to" screen.

Don't show "Continue Straight" until shortly before it's needed
Showing a continue straight as next turn hundreds of km before it's reached is annoying. I'd like to know what my actual next turn is. While it can be useful in many situations it's not needed until shortly before you reach it.
I suggest only display in app when the first prompt for it is announced.
Example:
In the example, I'm already on I-95 N. I don't need to know that in 76 miles I need to continue on I-95 (it actually started displaying about 200 miles before)

Collaborative Routing
Waze works like the most other Navigation Apps. You can choose between 1 and 3 different fixed routes, that sometimes slightly change when there is a lot of traffic ahead. The problem is, that Waze works like a broadcast as far as I know.
So when Route 1 have heavy traffic, all other users get Route 2 to avoid traffic. The problem here is, that new heavy traffic will be created to avoid the first.
All cars following the same alternative route.

Waze for Trucking
We should have the option to input our clearance height and weight restriction to avoid routes that we can’t navigate. When the gps sends us down a wrong street with bridges with weight restrictions or towards an overpass with low clearance, it’s hard to find a turnaround point. Restricted points can be easily sourced through driver submissions to verify information in that area. There’s been plenty of times that I finish my route and the trucking app we used will automatically kick me out to where I can’t navigate using a predetermined GPS, so I opt to use Waze, but…

Display route with toll and no toll
When navigating to a place, display on the map the route with tolls and the route with no tolls. Having to turn on and off the avoid toll to compare both routes is an extra step that can be eliminated when planning a drive.

Don’t change the route automatically during trip navigation
I don’t want Waze to change the route automatically without my permission after I chose at the beginning. It happens I choose a ruote and then, just for avoiding few minutes of traffic, I have to pay more highway and more fuel for longer route. I want Waze ask for me permission to change, despite a simple pop up “better route found” in which I can only choose yes, and if I don’t reply yes (of course I m driving) Waze change it automatically. put in little icons to tell where the traffic lights are so we know exactly where we are turning!
kind of like apple maps, tell us where the traffic lights are so we have a better understanding of the map!

You should be able to put a parameter like number of minutes saved to say don't reroute me unless it saves x minutes
WAZE will re-route when it only saves about 2 minutes. I want to be able to set a parameter that says don't re-route me unless it saves more than 5 minutes. Also don't re-route me to a toll road unless it saves 10 minutes

"Multi-Stop Route Support for Delivery Drivers and Professionals"
I suggest adding a feature to Waze that allows users to input multiple addresses (e.g., 10 or more, as many as the user needs) and get the most optimal route connecting all those points. Currently, Waze only supports adding one intermediate stop, which isn’t enough for delivery drivers or people who need to navigate between several destinations in a day, like within a city. For example, a delivery person could enter 10 different addresses in advance, and Waze would calculate the fastest and most efficient route to visit them all.

Navigation
Hello,
Would it be possible that when navigating, the overview of the route with arrow and all traffic jams and speed cameras etc, this arrow moves dynamically and shows how far away the arrow is from the construction site, speed camera or traffic jam? This works very well with the Sygic app. I think that this feature would help many drivers to get a better overview. Thank you4 votesThanks for your feedback. Convoy option
Be able to join a convoy with friends/family set a destination and everyone that is in the convoy can see the navigations and see what everyone’s ETA and where they are on the map

Which Side of the Road
It would be nice if on our drive at with .5 miles or .2 miles you would notify us which side of the road the business (address) is on. We have many 2/3 and 4 lane roads and we can't get in the proper lane for the turn if we don't know which side of the road the address is on.

Police avoidance
Like when a jam ahead is getting worse, Waze should tell you “police reported ahead. Do you want to divert? (2 more minutes)”. This should be toggleable in the settings just like speed alert is

Can you please place Stoplight icons at all intersections including it along any 4 lane routes.
We don’t see stoplight icons on our maps like google and maps offer. They really help us know how many stoplights are ahead before having to make a turn. Also if the speed limit sign could stay on in upper RH corner the whole time that would be helpful while traveling through other states. Thank you! We are new to the app and love it otherwise.
