Google Assistant Voice Navigation Problem
Dear Waze Team.
Since yesterday (seems like after Google Assistant update) I cannot use voice commands via Google Assistant in Waze anymore.
This cause a problem while driving as it is dangerous to try and add potholes etc. manually while driving.
When having Waze open and I want to navigate with commands through Google Assistant - just nothing happen or Google Maps open.
There is NO Google Assistant option to choose in my Waze app in Waze > Settings > Voice & Sounds?
PLEASE ADVISE OR HELP.

Allow the user to copy and paste locations/directions
Why doesnt Waze mobile allow the user to copy and paste locations but instead creates a long and convoluted way to send directions to others or copy them for sharing. Other apps like google maps allows a one click copy to clipboard to share. It should be that simple, i cannot ever share the location with anyone because it creates a link for people. Why a link, just copy the directions only. Im surprised its not a part of the app already.

Motorcyclist Approaching / Fast Vehicle Approaching Report
Some motorists like to weave in and out through traffic. Often times, these drivers/riders are only noticed once they fly by, which can be dangerous or fatal for anyone involved. We can increase driver awareness by adding a “Motorcycle Approaching” or “Fast Vehicle Approaching” feature in the Navigation mode. This will warn other Wazers that a fast motorcycle or fast vehicle may be approaching and to be extra cautious when merging. With a larger audience aware of fast-approaching vehicles, we can attempt to save more lives.

TURN OFF RECENT LOCATIONS pop up when you open Waze
For many reasons, including several types of safety reasons, we really need a way to TURN OFF the RECENT LOCATIONS pop up that appears every time you open the Waze App. I did contact support and there is currently (March 2021) not a way to do this.

Stop Taking over Car Audio in CarPlay
It is extremely annoying when Waze opens on car play that it changes my audio source to the CarPlay as well. It’s so annoying that I have gone back to using Google or Apple Maps exclusively, as they do not do this.

Hazard ahead “Still There?” Buttons distracting
Hazard warnings for stopped vehicles are sometimes accompanied by radio buttons to confirm whether the vehicle is still in the same place or not.
These buttons are WAY too bright and large, almost blinding when I’m driving at night.
Please make these less distracting. My passenger can fill in your update report.

Multiplas Paradas e atalho de alertas
Adicionar mais paradas na mesma rota. Adicionar atalhos no mapa para informar alertas (ex.: Buracos). A navegação de notificação é muito extensa e não é possível fazer ao dirigir.

Carplay settings
It would be nice to have access to the waze settings though apple carplay so that I can turn toll roads or other features on and off quickly as opposed to having use the phone app. Google already has this but I prefer using Waze so please work on this.

Bring back the “fastest route”, “add speed cameras”
Fastest route was removed from the app. Also at 3361 third avenue in the Bronx NY there is no camera icon for an installed camera in front of the addresses referenced in this message. Further we need a feature to add bus lane cameras, school zone start and end zone speed enforcement cameras

Voice search button for destinations using apple carplay.
Carplay voice input was taken away (microphone icon). I can no longer search via voice for directions to any place. Now I can only use iphone maps or google maps. Seems strange to remove a vital feature as now I cannot get directions to places with my voice.

Mark roads/routes safe for women travelling alone
I usually drive alone and as a woman travelling solo there have been some roads on which I have been somehow scared due to their lack of illumination/population nearby. I was wondering if you have ever thought about adding a feature that would flag roads safe for women travelling alone. For me, I would definitely feel safer knowing that the route is well lit/populated/does not go through dangerous neighborhoods and I wouldn't mind if it's not the shortest or quickest route as long as I feel safe. There would always be the option to choose if one wants to take…

The map should be able to display on the phone, even if CarPlay is active
Please can there be the option of keeping navigation running on the phone screen, even if CarPlay is enabled. CarPlay Display Units are often down low (where car radios used to be), and looking at that as your satnav is dangerous and distracting. Keeping the map on the phone will enable safer driving and a happier Apple and Waze customer base

Police alerts should be added to voice alerts (in alert only mode)- this cost me a driving ticket!
In “alerts only” sound mode I do not get police notification, only Speedtrap (stationary traps) so dynamic user-generated police notifications are not notified- this cost me a speeding ticket -+ driving school last week!

Report and block dangerous routes
I absolutely love your products, however there’s a major flaw in that you direct users through extremely dangerous areas in South Africa. This includes a well known Johannesburg hijack and robbery hotspot and yet I can’t report it nor block it on my route.

Reduce taps required from search to navigation
Currently from the time I see an address for which I've searched to when I'm able to just drive and see the map and directions, there are FOUR TAPS in between those two things happening.
Tap 1 — Seeing the address as text in search results.
Tap 2 — Seeing the address as an official box in results.
Tap 3 — Seeing the address on a map with parking options
Tap 4 — Directions calculated, and clearing option to choose routes.When a person is starting to drive, that's quite frustrating.

Select safer way by following someone if alternative route is similar time
Safely travel means to follow others. Like on festivals inside crowds ==> people tend to walk together = crowd pulls you. Basically we should drive in circles. While road has dashed line, we better don't want to meet many cars in opposite direction. This can avoid mamy accidents by front crash. Similar road arrangement can be seen ie. also on some festivals so it is not just a dream!! I prefer to come 10min late than never [+]. Waze should offer this always (on dashed line roads).
