  1. Allow importing of map problems by Country Coordinators/Global Champs

    There are various tools and open data sources available in several countries that allow us to pinpoint locations on the map where someone should take a look to make sure everything is up to date. I think it would be great if coordinators could upload a file to Waze that would result in map problems appearing in the WME at those locations. There are some userscripts out there for specific cases that can already show such an overview, but that would require all editors to have that script installed.

  2. WME frontend should show backend errors

    Hi,
    when saving, if the backend fails, it returns a message. But often they are not localized, and in that case we get a generic
    "Please try again later" which is useless because in most case the problem will not solve and the only solution is to cancel all edits.
    Here is a list of messages that are not localized and need to be displayed (maybe not exactly in the same form, but at least do not tell the user to try again if it is impossible that it works.

  3. Remove restriction types in WME for vehicle types and restrictions that are not currently in-app to choose

    Remove all vehicle types in WME, that you cannot currently choose within the Waze App.

    This won't apply to vehicle types that are currently planned to be released to the app, but the "Truck" and "Bus" types haven't been selectable in the App for some time now. This is very confusing for newer editors who are trying to make edits, using vehicle types that will have no effect on anything.

    Similarly please remove the "lane" restrictions like specific restrictions only for the left lane, etc. These do not work and in some edge cases, actually apply to the whole segment…

  4. I would like to suggest some corrections to your map

    How do I give you changes or updates to your maps. Google allows this.

    Wonders of Winter in Waterloo is shown at the correct location on the map but the address is wrong. Address is Central Drive but lists Young St as this is the park address.

  6. Speed trap reporting

    Our speed traps are in vehicles and not a fixed spot. It would be nice to be able to report the speed trap in app vs going in WME

  7. Allow assigning house numbers from the map while there.

    I go a lot of places and the house numbers in some areas are either nonexistent or just plain wrong. It would be nice to edit the map while on the street with the house numbers.

  8. Submit corrections

    Is there a way to submit corrections? Waze has my address wrong. It sends people to a nearby street. This is a big problem now as I am having groceries delivered during the pandemic. Thanks for any assistance.

  10. Landmark and POI's categories

    In WME, while editing the map, it would be useful to have the possibility to activate/deactivate categories of Landmarks/POI’s – something similar to Map Layers: I do not need to have all the categories visible and somehow polluting the map with Landmarks/POI’s like Park, Beach, River, etc.

    So, the idea is to have the possibility to select those categories I want to see and deactivate those less interesting for the day-to-day editing.

  11. Add a road closure once at destination

    It would be really helpful to add a road closure on the map once you're at your destination. Often you are driving and can't do this, especially if you can't drive near the closure

  12. Retorno do recurso Reportar radar

    Solicito o retorno do recurso “Reportar radar” todo dia as autoridades instalam novos radares no Brasil todo e nos usuários somos surpreendidos com a multa em casa. Não acho justo uma ferramenta tão rica ser desprezada pelos seus editores.

  13. Consolidate the two WME suggestion boxes

    Please consolidate the two Uservoice-based WME suggestion boxes. There has been a "Waze Map Editor" subcategory of the "Waze Suggestion Box" for at least a few years, and due to default links and navigation that is still an easier suggestion box to find than this one. Or, is there a reason to have two different suggestion boxes for WME?

  14. Gas station

    One of Swedens largest chain of gas stations is not to be found in Waze. In Eniro's map app it is though. Can you please add Ingo gas station in Waze so I don't have to change to Eniro.

  15. Metric system on new connections

    Hi,
    Can you add that the metric system is automatically set up according to the country to which we are connected?
    Because there are a lot of L1 in France who change the speed limits of entire districts / cities and put 50 mph ... instead of 50 km/h ... (a difference of 30 km/h ...)

  16. RTC : ability to add them on current tiles

    Hi,
    the real time closure have a problem :

    We put them in WME and WME validates them according to their current state in database. But they apply on livemap.

    Imagine I have a street that is A->B. Then they decide to reverse it. So it is now saved B->A.

    In WME I have B->A
    In livemap I still have A->B until tiles update.

    To avoid routing people A->B, it would be nice to add a closure, but WME refuse since it thinks the road is in opposite direction.

  17. Replace ':' and '>' by a direction field

    Hi guys,

    The idea would be to replace the ':' or '>' instructions present on segments by a direction field that
    would not display on the segment name but would allow to construct the guidance instructions.

    This would allow to properly manage the direction signs in the city without having this kind a street : "Street Chip: Dale area" and easily managed the directions in roundabouts, etc.
